Qawra itself was ok. There is no beach and very little entertainment for families or anyone else for that matter. The shops are ok but very samey nothing special all seem to carry the same range of goods. Would go again

The resort was clean in terms of cleanliness and the entertainment was ok, especially the bars although it was easy to get lost as there were many streets.
The beach that I visited was nice, relaxing and very clean but had a very bad atmosphere, the chairs were too close together and cost an awful lot of money to hire and not only that they came without a parasol.
I'm afraid to say I would not visit this resort again. Sophie

The resort was great. I was a single Mum with a fifteen year old daughter and when she said she was going into town with some of the other teenagers there at first I panicked. But after a few nights I realised it was a very safe area, and she was in no danger. There was ample nightlife for her, and I had no worries about her in the town.
We used to eat in town, then I would go off with the parents and she went into town with the kids. Great, safe and clean area.

The resort of Qawra is at best depressing. It's dirty and littered. Bins are not emptied. There is no beach but you are able to swim from the rocks however, the water is deep and you need to dodge the boats.

The resort of qwara has many bars and hotels, you can either have a quiet drink or entertainment which ever you prefer. there is no beach at qwara but you can sunbathe and swim from the rocks. we have travelled to Malta for the past 10 years and have found a lot of changes, most for the best and you can travel by bus to any part of the island from the local bus station for a few cents.

The resort is lovely. Its clean with plenty to do and feels very safe at night,Great for families and there are some great trips available. Highly recommended.

Qawra is a quiet resort with a nice promenade leading to Bugibba where it's a lot livelier. Apart from the few main rds the resort itself is not very pretty, although there is evidence of recent maintainence in some areas it's been done to a very poor standard.

This resort is excellent for families as it has a wide range of activities available including water sports.
If you enjoy sea life then I strongly recommend that you go snorkelling as the fish are beautiful, but watch out for the jelly fish as the can give off a nasty sting as my brother found out.

Bugibba is a great place to visit. The beaches are all rocky but the sea was very clean and lovely to swim in. Plenty of nice restaurants around which are very reasonably priced and portions are very generous. Plenty of pubs and bars too and it could get quite lively in the square at night. As this is also a place where the Maltese go for their summer vacations, it tends to get very busy. There are buses available regular from the centre of Bugibba to other places of interest in Malta, but the last bus is about 7.30pm which restricts you from going out of Bugibba after that. Plenty to do and not too expensive.

Quawra is a very pleasant part of Malta, although rather quiet we found the area to be nice. Buggiba only 20mins walk away is much more livlier whith a great selection of restaurants and entertainment. The sea front cafe's and bars are really good and the shops are nice to browse around. There are plenty of buses that run to both areas wher you can travel around the Island for a very small amount of money. Although no beaches as such in Quwara or Buggiba, sunbathing on the rocks and snorkeling is great fun. Qwara and Buggiba are definately worth visiting.
