Apartments were spotless and rooms were bigger than I thought it was far enough away from all the bars but easy walking distance.

The staff joined in the enterainment each night.

The rooms were cleaned about three to four times a week and clean linen and yes I would go there again I and going in August 2006 already booked when I got back last year.

We enjoyed our stay at the Choro Mar 1/2/3, we stayed in Block 2.

The rooms were large with plenty of storage. Each block has it's own lift & pool.

Can't single out any member of staff, as everyone, from cleaners to management were very helpful & friendly.

The hotel is a 15 min. slow walk to the top of the strip & slightly uphill, but there is a free hotel bus if you want to take it.

My wife and I had a great time here.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. nothing seemed too much trouble. the rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious.

The Choromar is located only 15 minutes walk from the main strip which is ideal. There is also a free minibus that runs 4 times a day to the beach and albufiera old town. Good old Fred.

We are going back again this year along with our daughter ,her fiance and our 2 year old granddaughter. cant wait.

We will be visiting this hotel again in the near future as it is a very nice place to stay.

Just got back from 1 week at the choro mar apartments.I booked there apartments after reading good reviews already posted.

When we arrived to our apartments I was pleasantly suprised to find the apartment considering 1 bedroom very large.....large dining area, good sized bathroom with bath & overhead shower, large bedroom which fit 3 single beds.smallish balcony but overlooked pool.

The Staff were very friendly and would go out of there way to make sure everyone was happy.Position of apartments were on outskirts of montechoro and it was a 15 min walk with 5 yr old to main area of the strip where must popular resturants, bars and shops were.The apartments were very clean and bins etc were emptied daily (towels changed twice weekly)bedlinen once per week.

The kids club reps ady & carla were excellent with the kids you could not fault them at all, my daughter loved the 2 hours a day fun activities and it was great for us as we got a break. The apartments also had gym and sauna, masseur and jacquizi at extra charge. massage recommended only 20 euros for half hour.

Entertainment at apartments was good with darts, waterpolo, quiz through the days and prizes to be won. Nightly entertainment was ok (kareokee, professional singers) but not enough to keep for our 5 year old entertained all evening so we went onto the strip most nights.

apartments have microwave,whistling kettle (not electric)3 ring electric hob, plently of kitchen utensils etc.But no toaster, grill or oven.In fact we went self catering but ate out all the time, the bar food was very good, pizzas one of the best Ive had ever.!! food in general considering Im vegy was good.

The choro mar apartments were in a good position, away for noisy nightlife but close enough to main resort centre.Taxis prices were only 5 euros anywhere in the area whether just down the road or otherside of albuferia.The choro mar apartments also run a bus free that leaves 4 times a day to albuferia beach and 4 times a day also to albuferia town, the retunr times also 4 times a day. Fred the bus driver was great.We would go back to these apartments but as it was our first time to portugal we would maybees try a different resort for our next holiday.

I have been to the Choro Mar quite a few times with my parents and each time I go back it gets even better. I have made many friends amongst the staff they are very friendly and are always there for you.

I like the way Manuel and Rui join in the entertainment at night their singing makes me laugh. I am always in the swimming pool in the day which is very clean.

They do some lovely food in the bar I can't wait to go back.See you all soon.Carl,Paul and Julia

What a disgrace. No words can explain how bad it was !!!!

It was my first visit to the Choromar, and i enjoyed
every minute of it, situated away from the main strip
but in 5 min walking distance, very friendly people,
swimming pool was very clean, very family orientated
went as a couple but am definatly goin to take the
children later in the year, definitly not one to be
missed as a family as ur entertained and well as the
children will never be bored during the day as well
as the night.

These apartments were excellent they were located a short walk away from the strip. The staff could not have been more friendly nothing was too much trouble.The apartments were very clean and spacious. The food available was of a high quality and the entertainment was also fab.The brochure did not mention half of the things that were available to use such as sauna, gym, jacuzzi,massages which were available for a small fee. We would definetely visit here again!

The hotel was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help and the little talks with fred about big brother tactics were hilarious. it will be the third time we travel here this year and we cant wait to see all the staff again. Graca was wonderful and was always there if you needed her.
