We are used to all inclusive deals having done it about 7 or 8 times before .This has got to be the worst we have had.

Staff dont make you feel welcome on arrival or throughout the holiday.
Hotel very basic rooms have no TV fridge or hairdryer.
The bar on ground floor is like a school hall packed with plastic chairs as is the dining room which is ridiculously situated on the 3rd floor on a corridor of bedrooms. The only other bar is on the 4th floor but there is no atmosphere in there well there are no toilets either so if you need the loo (or a cigarette)its a trip down 4 flights of stairs or you may care to experience the lifts!
The one and only pool is so small and basic with no lilos allowed. There is limited space to sit round the pool and if you do get a seat you are likely to get a ball in your face from the organised pool games oh and forget a quiet chat there are speakers by the pool that come on at 11am and the music blasts out till midnight so forget any peace!
There is just nothing nice about this hotel at all i visited Pontins years ago and this is like a downgrade from Pontins !!!
No pool bar no beach bar!
The food surprisingly wasnt that bad if you could cope with the noise and crowds in the one and only dining room with staff that find it hard to smile.
I really cant find anything good to say and am surprised to read good reviews about this place for us it was just a nightmare holiday from hell.
The resort itself isnt even nice its just boring ive seen much better beaches than this Calla Longa just seems to lack atmosphere. We feel we were misinformed when told that the East side of the island was much nicer i dont think so.
We went on the sunset sail trip which i highly recommend although we didnt get the return coach back to the hotel we decided to make the most of the atmosphere in San Antonio and returned about 4am by taxi for 35 euros!
We also went over to Formentera which is a beautiful island with gorgeous beaches well worth a visit.
A place i would recommend to eat out is the Wild Asparagus restaurant it is a small uphill walk but well worth it to have a nice quiet meal with sea views and fantastic food.
Well thats my view on Calla Longa and the sirenis club. Just dont go there !!!

The reception area itself is quiet bright and clean and staff are helpful and friendly, check in was quick and efficient.
The rooms are quite spacious and air-conditioned,furnishings are basic but comfortable.Maid service is daily except mondays and rooms are cleaned to a high standard.
The restaurant is one of the best we have found in ten plus years of all inclusive.Breakfast is British style with also cereal, fruit, hams and cheeses etc available.
Lunch and Dinner sees a wide variety of foods available with a carvery of meat or fish daily so no problems feeding the fussiest of eaters. In addition to the main restaurant a snack bar operates in the poolside bar serving the usual burgers, hotdogs and toasties etc and is again of reasonable quality.
There are 2 bars in the hotel the main one is poolside and is where the evening entertainment takes place, yes it is plastic tables and chairs but has anyone had anything else in similar rated hotels. The bar staff are very friendly and if you like to try and use a little spanish it is very appreciated. The second bar is on the 4th floor and is very relaxed ideal if you just want to chat with a drink or play cards etc,all drinks are served in plastic glasses and self vending machines for tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit juices and water are situated in the restuarant and the main bar.
Entertainment during the day is poor, very limited in activities so very repetative rifle shooting, football, killer darts, killer pool are rotated and we have daily waterpolo at 3pm.The evening entertainment was ok bingo and quiz 3 times per week with a show of some discription in between from professional acts,if the chance arrives dont miss the drag show.
Younger kids are generally well catered for with their own daily activities and nightly mini disco which lasted around 45 mins, however teenagers is a different story not much for them at all which leads to boredom so they tended to hang around a lot which leads to one or two little problems ocuring, however unlike previous reviews we never encountered the gangs running amok and causing problems.
The hotel also has security staff on at night so if you venture out remember and take your card as you will have to show it to re-enter the hotel.

I find it hard to believe people complain about plastic cups with so many children running about barefooted surely this is a safer option. We found the drinks o.k. plenty of variety. The snack bar was also very good.
The entertainment staff were very good and tried to involve everybody and even remembered your names witin a day. The only slight gripe we had was three times a week we had a quiz. The club dances were fun to try and learn. I purchased the c.d so by next year I might be a little better.
The hotel is kept very clean and o.k. it might be a little dated but does it really matter. The pool area was also kept clean, could do with a few more parasols as some were in a bit of a state but usually plenty of sunbeds and they have an excellent policy of not letting anyone into the pool area until 8 am in the height of the season so you know if you are down there for 8am you will manage to get on in the position you like.
We had 4 teenagers with us and they had an excellent time and if they were bored in the hotel they and a few others would go to Mr Cairos which was very close and had a good disco and they were more than welcome there.
We met many people there from last year as well as many new people and hope to see them again next year.

We had an excellent time in and around the hotel day and night. Met many new friends and I also met up with mates I had previously been with in the hotel last year.
Very friendly atmosphere within the hotel. The entertainers matt and olivia are mint no complaints and give them a shout out from the yorkshire lot if you are going.
Food was also excellent I am fairly fussy but always somthing I like. And one more thing give the club dances a try they are a right laugh and aren't to be missed bit confusing at first though.
Can't wait to return next year and look forward to seeing all the mates I meet out there next year.

There entertainment was good for the liitle kids but i took my 14 years old daughter and i didnt find there was much available for here in the nights. Entertainment for the adults was okay too. In the day there was lots to do like water polo, football and water aerobics.
I would come back to this hotel but not for a few years.

Arrived at hotel at approx 1am and realised immediately that we had made a terrible mistake.
Teenagers were running wild around hotel, and there were drunken men in reception.
Received our room keys and got in the lift to our room (the lift is wood panelled and is full of graffitti which is scratched into the wood).
Arrived in our room which to be fair was clean and tidy, however when we opened the curtains onto our balcony I nearly fell over with shock, the view we had was horrendous to say the least.
It was situated in a sort of concrete tunnel (hard to describe) above and below 2 bars therefore we had a concrete roof and a concrete floor oh and a massive extraction pipe to look at. Reported it to receptionist who was extremeley rude and unhelpful, he got very agitated when we asked to speak to the manager to the point that he was very threatening to my husband who is a very quiet placid man, this all in front of our 6yr old daughter was turning quite scary.
Spoke to the rep the next day who wasn't very good either, he informed us that in the whole hotel there are only 12 rooms with a view ,considering this is a massive hotel with approx 6 floors I'll leave the maths up to you, however needless to say there were a lot of unhappy customers waiting for room changes.
Tried breakfast next morning and found a hair in my food.
Pool looked unkept and although snacks are available throughout the day they looked absolutely awful, apart from alcohol you can help yourself to hot and cold drinks all day, however they are both from vending machines and are both served in plastic cups.
Kids were running absolutely wild day and night and there parents were simply turning a blind eye as they were so drunk.
Evening meals and lunch are very basic consisting of the usual stews, salads etc and there are only approx 3 choices of dessert.
We booked and paid for all inclusive and ended up eating and drinking out all week.
If I was to describe the hotel I would simply say working mans club if you like rest relaxation and a little bit of luxury stay well away.
We met an Irish couple who were staying all inclusive at the Sirenis Dorada which is situated next door and they said it was lovely no complaints.
Now for the positive stuff Cala Llonga is beautiful, Beach is amazing especially if you have kids, there are 2 parks situated on the beach also lifeguards and public toilets, it is also kept immaculate, there are some fabulous restaurants and is perfect for families or couples.
Mr Cairos is the best pub for evening family entertainment, and the 2 best restaurants are Flippers (reasonably priced) which serves just about everything and the portions are huge! And also there is a little Italian restaurant which is fairly pricey but the food is to die for, this is situated next to the Pirates bar.

The hotel was spotless, rooms were a little dated but very clean and the maid visited every day apart from a Monday (they must need a day off they work very hard ) we had fresh clean towels, glasses, bath mat every day and the room was swept and mopped each day too.
The food has something for everyone I tried all the food and was lovely they has a carvery each night which ranged from ham, beef pork , chicken which was ace but I enjoyed the fresh fish each night it's was lovely it ranged from cod, sword, coly, sea bass and salmon. My friend a bit of a fussy eater lived off chips and pizza and chick nuggets all week but he did enjoy it all the same and there was lovely fresh fruit every breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a snack bar on from 11am till late for salads and burgers, hotdogs and chips if you miss a meal or get peckish. The bar was brilliant a cocktails list that me and my friend loved, the lager was very good too
The entertainment was great for the little ones with a mini disco each night which they all looked as if the enjoyed. For the adults it ranged from a parrot show, quiz night men against women, magic show, karaoke it was all good fun.
We met some great people too me and my friend called ourselves the Train hahaha we made loads of good friends of all ages and all really enjoyed each others company and it definitely made our holiday. and we will all definitely keep in touch...
The weather was gorgeous too very surprising for May ....
The hotel was right on the beach and was great for snockling and sunbathing the beds cost 4 euros for the day.
There is also a bar up the road 5 mins walk away called Mr Cairo's which was a laugh who had reg entertainment on like karaoke, bingo and I saw a Robbie tribute which was really good, they serve English beer and ace cocktails .
Just round the corner also was a cocktail bar called The Mayfair all the football can be watched here as I wanted to watch the Blackburn V Spurs match and it was on here. If you go here defo try there cocktail strawberry daiquiri it is amazing........!!! really nice staff too
I have been reading some of the reviews on here before we left for our hols and must say was a little worried with all the negative reports me and my friend paid
