Cala Llonga is definitely an English family package holiday resort. In high season it's hotels and apartments are rammed with holiday makers on their 'two week' jolly. Families and couples alike will find everything they need within a 5 minute walk. Not being the biggest of resorts, the shops, bars and restaurants are fairly limited but adequate. Santa Eularia is only a few miles away on the local bus route for those wishing to spend time elswhere. Ibiza Town is also not too far away, also by bus. There are also ferries from the wooden jetty to the left side of the beach (looking out to sea) that take you to both towns.
This being my 4th visit to the resort (the last one ten years ago) it was much to be expected with no real complaints. The beach is white sand and slopes into the sea. Great for kids. One slight problem this time was that ten years ago the beach was cleaned thoroughly every evening by a tractor pulling a filter so that ALL rubbish, including cigarette nub ends, were cleared away. This time it's just a bloke picking up litter. Nub ends everywhere! That Blue Flag has to be earned and Cala Llonga risks losing it in my opinion. It's not just the water they look at you know.
We had a marvellous meal at Valentino's Italian Restaurant just up from the fountian. (The toddler was asleep in his buggy, thankfully, as they do not supply high chairs).
Further to that comment, if you are travelling with very young children I would actually recommend the resort of Es Canar. They cater for younger children so much better than Cala Llonga.
Overall: A fairly quiet resort with a sprinkling of shops, bars and restaurants. Good bus and ferry service to nearby Santa Eularia and Ibiza Town. Near perfect beach, good swimming for all ages. Hotels provide standard package holiday entertainment, but a good base for those wanting to travel around the island and see the 'real' Ibiza.

What can we say. The beach was very clean, life guards very helpfull when I was stung by a Jelly fish (only saw about three the whole week & I was stung by one of them).
The water taxi / ferries ran on time, fab way to get out and see the island.

Calla Longa is a quiet resort but it is very picturesque a beautiful sandy cove surrounded by woods which can be viewed on horseback as there are stables on the resort.
There is not much for families here as it’s so quiet but it’s a nice relaxing place for couples who want to chill out. The small beach is fab you can go out and feed the fish with bread they will come and take it out of your hand! All in all we had a good time and have booked to go back next September and we can’t wait!

Very clean resort but very quiet, mainly for elderly couples and families with younger children.
Not much to do when it comes to entertainment. There is one decent family pub called Mister Cairos which has Caboriet's and Drag Acts which were really good but other that that pub there was nothing else to do.
The beach is beautiful. The waters are infested with Jellyfish but otherwise clear. You can see them floating around so if you do decide to go to this resort just be very careful not to touch them.
I wouldn't visit this resort again as it was far too quiet for us.

All inclusive, definately worth the money, my kids could eat and drink for england, they might of well had a line from the coke machine into their mouths! and a conveyer belt with burgers into their stomachs!
Not much else for middle teens to do though, the pool was from the ice age and small, entertainment was brilliant for the youngsters and the old ones but nothing for the in betweens. Hotel very clean and staff brilliant, the hotel seems like its a just sit back and relax, no shopping, no malls. we hired a car that run round the island 4 days and didnt use a drop of petrol! Waste of time really, nothing to see. we went to the go karting centre, expensive but a fun day out for the whole family. the beach was clean and right next to the hotel, with watersports and boat trips.
It was a nice hotel and Ibiza was nothing like what I expected, (on tv it looks rowdy etc, nothing like that) it was a relaxing holiday but I missed the shops the shops i did find ( you needed a car to get to them) i found they were cheaper at home. gifts were cheap and tacky aswell. I liked the all incluseive bit, I would not do any others now, it was a cheap holiday for us, if you want a relaxing chilled out holiday then here is the place, ive been and thats it, more places to explore but I wouldnt go back there, Cyprus is by far the best yet still.

Small resort very limited in entertainment. All shows end up at the hotel at some point of the holiday.
Beach area very good clean and swept daily would visit again as a couple but not with kids.

Resort was veru compact with everything you need. Restaruants were a bit overpriced. We went to a few towns and food was about a third cheaper. No real competition, as they all charged the same.

The resort itself is very low key, a few restaurants and bars and half a dozen gift shops lovely beach. You can catch the ferry opposite the hotel to Es Cana & Santa Eulalia which makes a pleasant day out and the bus to Ibizia town is only 5mins walk away and costs 1.55 euro
