Cala Llonga is a small, quiet resort. Most entertainment is based round the hotels and there isn't a great deal to do outside the hotels. There are a few bars and restaurants to visit but not much else. The beach is great - large and exceptionally clean with plenty of sunbeds and sunshades.

The resort of Cala Llonga was lovely, it is a more peaceful and relaxing resort, so not a lot of evening entertainment. Although there was plenty of bars to sit in and relax away the evening. We found it to be a safe resort for children, the beach gently shelved into the sea.
The only problem others experienced was jelly fish, but we can honestly say in the 2 week we were there did not see one. Would recommend this resort to families especially with younger children.

Calla Llonga is beautiful and all a family could want.
The beach is perfect, restaraunts varied and serve very good food.
If you want a family holiday that isnt too hectic I would recomend Calla Llonga my family loved it and cant wait to go again in the very near future.
Everyone was very friendly and most couldnt do enough for you, there is a small fairground that keeps the kids quiet for an hour and if you are a sports fan most bars have all matches on sky, there are also plenty of souvenir shops and supermarkets.
The local bus and water taxi service is great for getting anywhere on the island and is very cheap.

Cala Llonga is a beautiful place, shame about the big hotels on the bay, but it is still a great place to visit for families. Great beach, some watersports; boats with slides, banana boat, canoes etc. Water taxi to places along the east coast, Ibiza Town, Formentara etc. Plenty shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. We eat out every night, prices very reasonable, everyone very friendly.

Lovely beach, resort very quiet,we prefer something a little more Spanish, too geared towards British people, a little tacky in places but full marks to Pepe and his daughters at Bar Madison & Uncle Bobs Bar.

The resort was small and quiet, but with one of the best beaches I have ever seen. We were there during the fiesta so there were various activities on, unfortunately the fireworks were cancelled because of strong winds, and no one thought to announce it, so we were waiting until 1am, before we gave up and went back to the hotel.

I have been visiting Cala Llonga with my family since Iwas a baby, for us it is more familair than England, and though we have visited other resorts we always return to Cala Llonga as nowhere else quite matches up, the island has been working its magic on us for years, its much slower paced then other resorts on the island, which is part of its charm.
The beach is perfect for families with small children becuase of its shallow waters and playground to keep them amused, always perfectly clean and well maintained.
The restaurants and cafes in Cala Llonga are for the majority well priced and relaxed with a friendly atmosphere, we ate out at the up and inn a lot as this was popular with my younger brothers and sister, the food is generally good and the waiters very friendly.
Bar Madison is also very popular, this is a family run cafe/bar incredibly popular with locals and tourits alike.
The nighlife in Cala Llonga never claims to match that of San Antonio which is why it is a family friendly resort, there are many bars to while the hours away, bars like Mr Cairo's, flippers and raffles provide entertainment such as quizzes and karaoke plus live bands.
Cala Llonga is a magical place and I defy anyone to go there and not have an enjoyable holiday, I know that myself and my family will be visiting the resort for many years

Cala Llonga was excellent.
Nice friendly people although the change of currency seems to have made some of the Spanish run Restaurants/Cafes grossly expensive and the food has gone down some what from what it was when they had the Pesata.
All in all a good beach, warm sunshine, friendly people. Not much for Teenagers though.

The whole resort was a pleasure to be around as it was all very clean and had a really great atmosphere.
The beach was super with clear seas and lovely golden sands to walk across.
We are coming back again in five weeks to the lovely resort that is cala llonga.
