Location
The view from our room was wonderful. Plenty for my teenaege boys to do as well with archery etc to keep them amused.
All in all a excellent holiday we will be going back to the Don Pedro.

Hotel a bit dated, but very clean.
Food was very good. Choice was good, sometimes could have done with being slightly warmer, but we had no complaints.
Location suited us very well. We do not like lots of nightlife and we knew hotel was in a very quite area.
Staff-no complaints at all.
We sat outside in the evenings, so did not see any hotel entertainment. Sounded good though!!
The only things that would stop me returning to this hotel are:
The walls are so thin you could hear next door clearly. The hotel is just like a huge echo chamber, people were slamming doors day and night, kids running up and down the corridors very late at night, and for an early bird like me at bedtime, well it drove me mad!!!!!!!!! Not so much the hotels fault, as the clientele in it!!
Why can't people have consideration for others? We are not perfect, but I have never let my children run riot and as I said before it drove me potty.

Staff were always helpful, friendly & attentive to the kids. Entertainment team worked very hard to please without being pushy . Evening entertainment(after the bingo!) was of a particularly high standard.
Location was beautiful with spectacular views of the bay & mountains. Nice little coves surrounded the hotel.
Don Pedro is a very good hotel for a 3* rating.

Our room was for three persons and was a decent size, although the balcony was slightly on the small size, the views are fantastic, especially if you get a sea view room. Clean sheets every day as well as towels.
All drinks were well known branded drinks not just the cheap stuff you sometimes get on theses all inclusives.
The entertainment is OK should you like bingo and the odd singer.
There was a slight smell of petrol as you come from the lifts on the third floor, but overall I cannot fault this hotel.

This holiday was not suitable for children over 15 and you couldnt get alcohol whatever you did!
Staff were only friendly to old people and children.
No shops or anything to do!

The hotel itself I thought was really nice. It was a fantastic 2 week holiday for us.
Food was always good, lots of choice, always hot and replaced as soon as it was running low.
Didn't go to see evening entertainment as it was always held indoors, and the hotel happens to have an amazing terrace to sit on. We spent almost every evening just sitting with a drink and a book or played cards and listened to the waves crashing against the rocks.pure bliss !
The rooms were small, but again, had a fantastic sea view. Not much storage space so more or less lived out of suitcase, but air conditioning was a godsend.
Now for the beach and sea. Well, beautiful,
sea very clear and very warm. Worth buying a cheap snorkel to see the fish...although because you are in a cover, out of 2 weeks, we had only about 6 days with a green flag. Also, you must have shoes on in sea...very rocky and lots of sea urchins, don't risk it without shoes...
Resort of Cala San Vicente was very quiet but really had everything you needed, Spar shop over road from hotel sold everything....a couple more shops down the road past the Simar...
Hotel also ran courtesy bus every day to Alcudia, markets were good in both Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa, buses cost 1Euro 20 each...not bad at all...
All in all, a fab holiday for us....we like it fairly quiet and relaxing and with a 12 year old, well, he loved it too...it is a very safe place for his age group not so sure about much younger but he was in heaven with pool tables, table tennis and mini arcade...We just kept lots of spare change for him and he enjoyed the evenings as much as we did....Fantastic, would definitely go back..

The food was good, although being the end of the season there wasn't as great a choice as there would normally be. Although staff were very obliging when we asked if they could provide more suitable food for the children as they weren't keen on chicken on the bone in sauce, steak done in sauce and swordfish etc.
Next day we were greeted with chicken nuggets made specially for the children by the chef. Always fresh fruit and lovely crusty bread available.the hotel location was absolutely gorgeous,in a lovely peaceful setting with stunning mountain views and a sandy cove on each side of the hotel.
The resort itself was very quiet but that didn't bother me as i was looking for a relaxing, lazy holiday. however our friends are more used to Palma Nove etc and were disappointed. we hired a car which cost us about

Lovely reception area on top floor but unfortunately the lower levels of the hotel want a complete revamp. It was very dark on the corridors and the bedrooms felt gloomy and are quite small.
The restaurant and bar are at the bottom and are also dark and uninviting. Found it to be quite a depressing hotel and it wants updating although everywhere was spotless. There is a nice terrace area overlooking the sea which is where the outside bar and entertainment was. But the entertainment was the worst we've watched at any hotel we've stayed in.
The food was ok the breakfast being the best but lunch was a warmed up version of the night before. Not much variety thro our stay - salad bar was decent.
We ate out a few times as there are a few small restaurants nearby.
Don't be put off the hotel though, the staff are very nice and polite and it was spotlessly clean just don't expect more than a 3* or a new hotel

When it was really hot it was quite nice to enter the hotel and be refreshed by the hotels freezing breeze!
The sea was beautiful to swim and look at all the fish! both where you got in the beach and further out there were rocks but very easily avoidable.
There were a good handful of things to do around the hotel and you could use the 'Simar' pool and bar for free but there was a small charge to use the all inclusive buffet.
There were great cheap trips book-able from the rep(hotel)and Pollensia and Porta Pollensia were a short while away.
We have even booked the same date for 06!
