Rooms were comfortable and clean.

The food was nice but the choice was lacking a little.

If you want a quiet holiday, then this is for you as the hotel is quite secluded - no nightclubs.

The staff were polite and helpful and the rep was available if you needed her.

We didn't watch much of the entertainment so can't really comment.

Excellent value for money - little ones wanting cold drinks and they had non stop kiddy food snacks.

Otherwise food sometimes excellent others ok but in general there was always something to eat to suit most tastes. A lot of spanish holiday makers so there tastes were catered for the main part/If you are willing to try local specials then this is the place for you.

The hotel was spotlessly clean as a whistle, the staff cleaned thoroughout the day and night.

Location fantastic get a sea view room spectacular truly that! Room with a view!!! Beach either side though shingle need those beach shoes avail at local shops inexpensive. Water crystal clear few jellyfish. Take a trip out in a pedaloe for a view of hotel. Lots of short walks though quite hilly some steps though hotel does have 2 lifts sometimes that refused to work.

Entertainment general ok bingo ok professional artists good, animacion staff a little boring. Nice local bars and Trotters bar close by English bar very good entertainment for a change. Drinks great bar staff wuick and friendly nothing too much trouble. I would dearly love to go back the water is similar to that in the maldives though not as many fish though my husband mentioned to take or buy snorkelling stuff and have a go.

Excellent holiday wish we were there now. Down side Direct did not have a kids club as promised meant we had no free time knowning little one was safe. Oh and steep drops all around entertainment area of a night hubby and I were like meer kats looking out for 4 yr old. He loved it, not too may children. Family and couple who like R & R and fun if you want it in an ideal location. Paradise!

The Don Pedro is a lovely hotel set in beautiful scenery.

The hotel is spotlessly clean with maid service every day and clean towels every day.

The food was good, with choices of meat or vegetarian dishes and desserts & fresh fruit. The food wasn

We have just returned 3/6/05 after 7 fantastic days at the Don Pedro I was looking for a quiet, relaxing, holiday and that is what we got.

The food was great although some didn't think so they must have exspensive taste's plenty to choose from and the fruit was delicious.

Our room was cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels. The view we had from our balcony was stunning and I watched the sun rise it was spectactular. Hotel staff were very friendly.

The Entertainment in the evening was ok Elvis night was good but everything seemed to end at 11pm but we were still happy to sit in the lounge chatting to other holiday makers. I was not suprised to find out that some were on thier 5th holiday at the Don Pedro and most guest's including myself said we would definetely go back.

I am already checking the prices!

As other people have written, this hotel is placed fantastically on the beach in the quiet resort of Cala San Vicente.

The food here was good whilst not being great and as other people have said there was a lot of choice, but nothing really Spanish except for the final party night when all the staff partied with the few remaining guests. Then the true spanish food came out and it was great with lots of champagne.

All in all a very good place to stay with some excellent entertainment and very attentive courteous staff

What can i say! This is the first time we have attempted booking a hotel separate from a flight and I would do it again!

We chose a wonderful hotel in a fantastic setting. Even though it was the last week of the season, everyone made us feel welcome and made a great effort to look after us.

The entertainment staff were grand. Simon was an absolute blast and made the holiday for many of the children and adults in our party. His enthusiasm was to be admired. The kids loved the mini disco and both Simon and Debbie performed their hearts out.

The food was fine. I got a bit bored of it by the end, but that's because I prefer to try more local dishes when I am on holiday, and this hotel seemed to cater more for its British clientele - fully justifiable to be honest!

The maids visited our room every day and normally well after lunch - which was superb, meant I didn't have to worry about conversing in Spanish and explain why I was still in bed so late!

The staff around the hotel bar, reception and restaurant were very courtious and efficient. Most drinks were available and if you wished to have an export drink, the extra 2 euros wasn't too big a deal. To be honest, there was so much on offer under the 'all inclusive' umbrella that there was limited need to spend that extra money.

All in all, this was a wonderful way to spend a half term. The weather wasn't brilliant, we had a couple of spectacular downpours - you just have to remember that it's November in a few days and it all falls into perspective.

Would I go again? Without a shadow of a doubt... one warning though... over the other side of the main beach is a walk up into the hills. SUPERVISE children at all times! The razor grass and big boulders are dangerous, as my son found out to his cost... didn't ruin a good holiday, but was a bit of a scare worth mentioning on here! So long as you are careful, there is nothing to worry about!

I had read some negative reviews about this hotel after we booked so I was keeping my fingers crossed when we arrived. I wasn't disappointed.

The room we were allocated at first faced the pool and it was quite small with an awful smell of drains. We asked to be moved to a room with a sea view (which I recommend you do as soon as you arrive) and we were moved without a problem.

The food could not be faulted, there was something for everyone and plenty of it.

The staff were friendly and extremely efficient - as soon as you had finished everything was cleared away and the tables reset for other guests.

We had air conditioning in our room but we were told that in the annexe that the hotel has, there is no air conditioning.

We had a fantastic week and would recommend the hotel to anyone. The bonus for us was that going at the time of year we did, there was a minimum amount of kids !!

Just returned after a fantastic fortnight to this hotel.

Very clean rooms, good maid service apart from waking the teenagers up too early.

Food was excellent with too many choices to mention and too many to over indulge in and always plenty of junk food for the kids, with hot, cold and alcoholic drinks constantly on tap.

The hotel was in a beautiful location with a sandy cove either side which were wonderful to walk along especially late at night.

The staff were friendly especially the bar staff who made a brilliant effort with the teenagers in our party.

The entertainment had to be the best part of the holiday for us with two adults, four teenagers and one child there was always something for everyone from the kids games and activites to the adult themes like archery, rifle shooting, darts, french bowls, quizzes and this was only the daytime activities.

At night there was always a quiz, bingo and a professional show some nights. On other nights the entertainment staff would put on a great theme show of their own and always looking for volunteers to take part which really was part of the fun.

I would like to give a special mention to them Simon, Debbie and Kikki who all gave 110 per cent to everything they did and were never tired, even with the really long shifts that they worked, they really made our holiday one to remember.

We wish them well and hope they are still there as we plan to go again next year.

Just got back from Don Pedro.

The Food was OK, there was always something fresh to eat, although I was amazed at the battered broccili. We did not go hungry.

The hotel itself was clean, and our room was large with a sea view balcony. The maids were very good cleaning the room daily.

Generally the staff in the hotel could not have been better, they worked liked trojans and were always polite.

The location of the hotel could not be beaten.

The only gripe I could make was the amount of children who seemed to have little or no manners or discipline, but i guess the parents should be blamed for that.

The entertainment was a little tedious and seemed to be aimed at the screaming children, but this was out weighed by view from the terrace.

All in all an above average holiday, and would defo go back.

The hotel was always clean and the tables in the outdoor area were cleared away at night at the area hosed down.
The food was excellent always choice if you could not find something you liked it was a poor show. The desserts were a little repetitive but with two meals a day for fourteen days this was to be expected.
The staff were always friendly and happy to help.
The entertainment staff tried but this was probably its weakest point.
All four children thoroughly enjoyed it, there were plently of others there for them to make friends with and the hotel felt very safe that you did not need to be looking over their shoulders every five minutes checking on them. Probably if you do not have children or find them a nuisance it is perhaps better to go outside of the school holidays.
This holiday was value for money as they say you get what you pay for, having shopped around for all inclusive holidays this hotel is good value.
