Just got back from a wonderful holiday here, not only was the weather very hot for October, but also this accommodation was very good.
Very clean throughout, the food in the restaurant was very nice, good variety every night and lots of hot fresh food always being brought out. The hotel location is very central in the resort, which is ideal for going out for a stroll to shops; we paid for sea view room which we found was a little noisy at times as they faced out on main road-would opt for pool view next time!
The staff at all areas of hotel were very very friendly and couldn

The hotel is in a good location especially if you like to be within easy reach of main resort facillities. The hotel was very clean and the staff and management were both professional and helpful. Bedrooms were well equipped if a little on the small side. My main gripe would have to be the food, whilst breakfast was very good the evening meal left a lot to be desired,it would take too long to cover every point but generally the choice was poor and bland. All the vegetables were a mixture of tinned and frozen and over cooked to oblivion. Desserts - abysmal. Another thing that really bothered me was at the Gala dinner quite a lot of the food was out of refrigeration all the time (6:30-9pm) including seafood where 20 minutes is the maximum. Having been in the catering industry for the last 40 years I can only liken it to canteen food and not a very good one at that. A shame really as you couldn't really fault the hotel in any other way. It seems silly to me that everyone works so hard to make your stay a good one but they seem to neglect one of the most important areas.

We found the hotel rooms very small, the bed in particular was no larger than a three quarter size, which made it very difficult to sleep comfortably.

Although we do not get involved in the daily activities there was a terrace where we were able to sit/lounge about on which was seperate from the main pool area where we were able to keep ourselves to ourselves.

The meal times left a lot to be desired, you had to fight for a table and even clear it yourselves sometimes, you could not have a relaxing meal because of the conveyer belt fealing of get you in and get you out (we gave up on breakfast after the 4th day). However the a la carte restaurant was an exellent evening very relaxed, good food and service.5 out of 5 for this.

There was a very good bar at the front of the hotel, very friendly staff and always cheerful.

This is the only holel we have returned to and plan to go again next year. All areas are very clean. The food is very good (the first time I put on 6lb).

You can eat outside which we found very pleasant. The location is excellent being very near the ferry and bus service. There is also a small tourist train (on the road) -all very close.

The staff are very friendly and help make the holiday special. Entertainment is good especially if you prefer to stay in the hotel. Very good for older couples - no children allowed.

I feel sorry for the people who have complained about this hotel - they must be very difficult to please.

The Panorama is a 4T, 3 star hotel and although very basic in decor has a very cozy feel to it.

The restaurant is well laid out and you have the opportunity to dine alfresco in the warmer months. The food was excellent and seemed to cater for every need, hotel chefs have no problem in cooking something not on the menu so that your dietary needs are met.

The location is central. Located across the road from the beach although you can experience noise of an evening from a neighbouring bar.

Entertainment was excellent. A particular well done to the Thomson girls who worked hard to make sure everyone was happy.

We had high expectations of this hotel after reading reviews on another site. We were not impressed at all during our week stay. I was so annoyed with myself that we'd spent

This is the first time we have used a Thompson Gold hotel (no under 16's) so we were not sure what to expect. It turned out to be the best hotel we have ever visited and the staff could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The entertainment every night was exceptional and the staff joining in made it even more special. During the day, there were many activities to take part in or you could just as easily lounge around the pool area doing nothing. The food in the hotel was plentiful and varied and of the highest quality. The only complaints we have is that it would have been nice to know before we arrived that the hotel does not accept credit card payments (normally, you pay for the hire of a safe, wine etc during your stay at the end of the holiday by credit card), so be warned to take plently of cash. The other gripe is the situation with towels being put on the sun loungers very early in the morning and some of the culprits not arriving until well into the afternoon to take up the bed. The disappointing thing is that everyone in the hotel is British, so you would think we would know better. More should be done by the holiday reps and hotel staff to prevent this from happening.

We stayed at the Hotel Panorama in Ibiza which was a Thomson Gold Hotel. My parents have been going here for years and persuaded my husband and I to join them for the last week of their holiday this year. This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. The hotel was impeccably clean, the staff were always very happy and friendly, and the food was fantastic. The hotel reps were brilliant and very knowledgeable about the island and didn't push for us to book their trips etc...We enjoyed our holiday so much, we have already booked to go back next year. Fantastic Hotel, well worth more of a rating than 3*, and even better that it accepts no kids under the age of 16yrs.

My husband and I visited in July 2004.

The food was very good and plentiful but perhaps it was a bit repetative. We found there was always something that we liked on the menu.

Our room was not large but it was very clean and we did not spend too much time in there so it was not a problem.

The location was very central so we were very pleased. Everything was on the doorstep.

The staff and the entertainment team were always very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The managers party was very good. My husband enjoyed the pool games and I am quite happy to watch from the sunbed but if you do not want to join in you never feel pressured.

We have never visited the same hotel twice but we have booked and will be there in July 2005 and we know what we are going to get. A relaxing enjoyable holiday without having children splashing and crying. (I do not dislike children I have two grown up ones of my own).

The Marina Panarama ia a place for an excellent holiday.

We've been to this hotel twice, the first time in August a few years ago when it was a Thomson Sun hotel and we were sent there when we got to the airport because there was food poisoning at our booked hotel. We had 3 children with us then and they had a fantastic time. They loved the arranged activities and the entertainment.

The second time was different because it was in May and we went for my husbands 50th birthday as we had loved the place so much the first time. We booked a superior room which was fabulous with comfortable seating and a large balcony overlooking the pool. There was fruit and flowers and a bottle of wine was brought to us on the first day.

On the birthday day we ate in the a la carte restaurant and the manager and chef brought in a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake whilst 'happy birthday'was playing. It made the holiday very special and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We didn't go to the entertainment on that visit but had a great holiday
