Es Cana is a lovely little resort with a nice relaxed atmosphere. There are plenty of good eating places and even though we were late in the season there was still entertainment in the bars. Because its not a big island there are plenty places round about to visit by boat or bus.
We ate most nights in a restaurant called Marvent and the food and the waiters were very good. Something for everyone on the menu.Would visit Es Cana again.

Resort was generally tidy and clean. Entertainment was hard to comment on really as lots of places had already shut down for the end of season but there were a good selection of shops/bars/restaurants in resort.
Didn't use the beach as weather not that good, seemed small but ok.

Please don't visit this resort at the end of Oct (Half Term) as we did. There were only only one bar open and one supermarket. All resturants had closed for the season so we could only get fast food at Marvants bar, which was ok for a few days but after 3 or 4 days it got a bit repetative. First Choice stated that there was a small fun fair for children but when we arrived it must have finished for the season also. Very little to do in the resort espically because it rained so much.
I will definately not be visiting Es canar again.

Loved the resort some great bars loads of gift shops to keep the ladies happy beach could have been better lots of weed when we went but cala nova beach 15 mins on foot was much better santa eulalia about 6 or 7 minutes away on bus 1 euro 25.

San antonio about another half hour from santa eulalia for another 2 euros 5 cents.

Popeyes bar is the best cant wait to go back !!

Es cana is only a small town although lots to do and plenty too see.I think the resort caters very well for families as most pubs, bars and restaurantes have little play parks for the little ones to play which is a great idea. My children are 6 and 7 and they loved every minute of it. It has lots of fairground rides (which can be a little expensive) although at least it gives them something to do. The prices in the restaurants are very reasonable and the meals in the bahia pins(on the beach ) are beautiful and excellent value (my kids loved the chicken nuggetts. This resort is very clean and has lots of souveneir shops too, prices can vary so its best to shop about. The beach at es cana is beautiful, I did try the beach at cala nova although I found the sea to be quite rough and I also prefered the beach at es cana as it was in very easy reach of our hotel. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, it did seem to become more quiet after 12 am although still had plenty of bars open and plenty of takeaways for a late snack.
We went to the hippy market and it was fantastic however we did take our little one in the buggy which became quite a struggle as it becomes very very busy.es cana is a very cosmopolitan resort and caters for all people of all ages, I will definately be returning back to this resort and would recommend it to anyone

We stayed in Es Cana which we both enjoyed, only small things like big piles of sea weed all along the beach, but apart from that everything was ok. There was a ferry service every hour to take you to different places, Formentera a small island about 90 minutes away 27 euros, Ibiza Town and the next town Santa Eulalia. We walked from the Hippy Market beach right to Santa Eulalia one morning (about two and half hours) a lovely walk, but a warning we waited for a bus, then when it arrived you are not allowed on the bus without a ticket! So by the time you got a ticket from the little kiosk the bus was full!!! Only if you get the bus from Es Cana you can pay on the bus (a return ticket), but not from Santa Eulalia! Loved the resort the night time, the food and would definately go back! Loved the train that takes you into the countryside also!

the resort of escana is fairly compact, plenty of bars and eating places, dont think it would appeal to the younger holiday makers but basically something for everyone.

The resort is quite quite, except on a Wednesday when the Hippie Market is on, the place is really busy then. The beach is kept really clean and there is a lifeguard there. There are many bars and cafes to visit and at night there are a lot of places with entertainment on if you don't want to stay in the hotel.
