I like it. Most rooms have a sea view, the higher you go the better itd be. Youll have to walk uphill. As youd expect. Its worth it.

Rooms that are pool facing. All the restaurants we tried were very good.
There aren’t any water parks in the resort apart from the one in the large hotel for hotel guests.

The beach is cleaned regularly of sea weed and the town is clean. It is only a small resort so the entertainment is limited. However we did frequent Vincent's bar on more than one occasion where the entertainment was second to none especially Tommy's Elvis impression, thoroughly recommended. THe beach is the best part of the resort, it gently shelves, ideal for children. The water is clear and there are plenty of fish. Plent of water sports and boat rides. The ideal resort if you have small children.

Portinatx was just as we expected, very small with a handful of bars and restaraunts. Some nice, some not so nice but clearly the fact that all the hotels are all inclusive has had a major impact on this resort. Some of the bars had nobody in them all week. I just couldn`t see how they survived. No gift shops really of any note.
The beach was very scenic, split into 2 seperate small bays but absolutely rammed with people, hardly a space to be had unless you parked right on top of someone else which plenty of people were quite happy to do.
I found the whole island of Ibiza to be like Majorcas poorer cousin, too many boy racers on the road for my liking and generally the standards were not as high yet the prices were just the same.
Not much else to say about it. Nice enough but I shan`t be rushing back here.

The resort was clean entertainment was good at the start of the holiday but went downhill at the end of the 2nd week. Loved the bejing acrobats and zapping was fantastic.
Apart from cigarette butts on the sand the beach was nice especially the smaller beach if you have young children it was shallow untill you went a far way out.
Very few bars and shops around.

The beach is fantastic in this resort. We spent all our time at the beach as you were always guarenteed a space, unlike hotel swimming pools. Beware though there are sun loungers on the main beach, but there is a charge of 4.50E per sun lounger, AND 4.50E for an unbrella, which for a family of 3 is £17.50E a day which I though was very expensive. We got told of a bar called Vincents which we visited a few times. They have a drag act, Aussie night, Elvis nights etc which were great and was made to feel very welcome. There is also Delboys which is a lovely pub as well. Portinax is lovely, but very quiet, too quiet for my liking.

The resort is fairly quiet and family orientated. Not typically spanish but not like a 'Brit abroad' resort. the town of portinatx has a few bars and restaurants but nothing overwhelming. There is a lovely crazy golf range for the kids which is lit up at night. Also there is a small water park but we did not visit it.Buses travel regularly into Ibiza town, which is well worth a visit and there a boat trip departs for Formentura sevral times a day. Another 'must see'.Portintatx has two main beaches. the larger one is fantastic for swimming and perfect for children as is does not slope down until really far out into the sea.

Vincents had changed quite a bit.Still the same friendly faces of the three brothers. Maybe need to look at the main act there for next year. Duncan McCann the drag act was as usual out of this world.

Very little to do. All the resturants serving the same things and also very expensive.
Very few shops and nothing to really see or do.
Very disappointed

Portinatx is quiet - that is well known - a handful of bars and shops in main square over one side of beach,
but if you walk in opposite direction from 'main square' you find a 2nd smaller beach with 3 or 4 nice restaurants/bars, plus a great Chinese restaurant set slightly up the hill (under 1 minute walk from beach) with great views of the coved bay of Portinatx.
