I like it. Most rooms have a sea view, the higher you go the better itd be. Youll have to walk uphill. As youd expect. Its worth it.

Rooms that are pool facing. All the restaurants we tried were very good. There aren’t any water parks in the resort apart from the one in the large hotel for hotel guests.

This was our first holiday in Ibiza and Portinatx was a lovely surprise. At the north of the island near the mountains the area is very picturesque. On the hole the resort was very clean, the beach was beautiful as well as spotless. There is a main square in Portinatx where you will find the supermarket, around 6 souveneir shops and a dozen or so bars and restaurants. Most of the bars had entertainment nightly varying from karaoke to quizzes and drag artists!! Although classed as a quiet resort we found there was plenty to do in the local area, Delboy's is an english bar and does a great english breakfast. A vert beautiful and clean resort. The only down side is that some areas are a bit hilly and a lot of the apartments have steps, so this is worth taking into account if you have wheelchairs or don't walk very well.

we went to the beach a couple of times and it's lovely, very clean and child friendly....very shallow waters.
normal beach stuff to do like pedlo's etc and shops are close by. There are several bars in the resort, we did not visit these as we loved the hotel so much, however we did know people what did go and it sounded fine.
near the beach is a childrens play area which you need to visit in the morning as the sun gets on it in the afternoon and makes everything hot!!
There is another beach close by and again this is lovely.

plenty of shops/supermarkets.

crazy golf, train ride for kids, glass bottom boats.

lovely resort for families....not great for clubbers!!

the beach at Portinax is amazing and it is a real experience to wade out in the see and have all the fish swimming all around you.

The resort was very small and quiet. Only a handful of shops and a couple of bars. There were a few tavernas parrallel to the beach but these were very quiet as most of the hotels are half board or all inclusive.

The beach is very nice but expensive at 3 euro for a bed and 2 euro for an umbrella.

I wouldn't stay here again as it is too small.

The resort was v.clean
Entertainment was very low key in the main square area we used Del Boys bar the staff there are fantastic especially Beverly, always makes you feel welcome, food is good (although all english so if thats what you want Del Bos is where you want to be).
For a more authentic experience we also found a good fish restaurant cant remember name but if you go to the beach on the left as you go down and then continue round path its the last restaurant on left, run by Antonio who's lovely wife was just about to have their first baby - try the grilled sea bass - delicious.
The beaches were both excellent although again low key - didnt see much except pedalos, canoes and a glass bottom boat trip so no banana boats etc but hey that was good for us.
In terms of the scenery Portinatx is gorgeous, clear seas water, great landscape and greenery and backdrop of tree covered mountains - very beautiful. I would recommend the resort to anyone looking for a low key holiday with young pre-teen kids, not recommended for anyone who would have difficulties walking up hills.

Portinatx is a fairly quiet resort - not for those looking for clubbing or loud bars.

The main square has a few typical english bars - Delboy's and Vincents - although we did not use them they seemed to attract families with young children. There are some nice quiet restaurants if you want a quiet meal for two with views across the bay - very romantic!!!

The main beach was clean and as the water was crystal clear and shallow it was very safe. Take some bread to feed the fish!!

For a peaceful break but with buses and taxis to more livelier resorts available we would highly recommend Portintax and will definately be going back.

We would most definatly visit again. It was a treat to be able to enjoy the pictureque scenary and the quite pace of life. It was lovely to be able to spend time with my family and do things with them that I havent done in ages like play cricket and bat and ball. I had a great time just relaxing.

The only bad thing was that we had to come home !!!
