Location
We would visit this hotel again and quite honestly I think the food has inproved since some of the reports we had read about during 2004.

The entertainment was good, what we saw, as we went out quite a lot. The was a kids disco & games every night, which was pretty much the same, but who's bothered if the kids are happy.
It was in an ideal location, there are shops and bars all around. We were all inclusive the lager was the best in the resort, you could get more or less what you want. There is a ferry stop right outside Mar Amantis 1, which is straight over the road from us, it takes you into San Antonio for two euro, or it's a nice walk around the bay, approx 20 mins.
Would definitely recommend it, and would certanly go back again.

On arrival there was chocolate Ice cream melted on the floor which was still there when we left. The pools were cloudy and the whole area needed to be swept.
Breakfast was cold and the bacon was not fit for a dog. Lunch was poor, salad and chips is the only safe option!
A lot of people paid for all inclusive but paid to eat elsewhere. Snacks were only available until 6.30pm. One night they did a special Dinner in the evening which was Paella and Beef. Several people complained about stomach upset after the Paella, although we didn't try it because it looked disgusting!
The area is excellent, one of the pools overlooked the sea. There is a Ferry outside and for 2 euros you can go to San Antonio.
The Hotel staff seem unhappy, and not very friendly, it seems to be a big problem to them if you ask for a drink.
The entertainment is absolutely rubbish! it lasts about an hour and is very poor!
I went to this hotel with my sister for a week of relaxing. I wouldn't go back unless I got it really cheap!

We had almost no entertainment throughout the whole holiday provided by the hotel. There was no kids club day or night hence adults and children bored so seeked entertainment elsewhere to our cost.
Hotel staff were ok and hotel was clean.

The food was very repetative and very boring.
The hotel bar staff were freindly but tended to be abit ignorant by carrying on there own conversations and just ignoring you.
Our toilet was broken when we arrived and we had to go without water for 2 days.
I would go back to this hotel but i would only go self catering as the food did not live up to much at all.

The staff were all friendly even though we were not tipping. We found if you smiled and made conversations with them they were very nice. We had a 1 year baby with us and everyone spoke and played with the baby.
The men in my party had a great time during the day entering competitions. In the evenings there was the childrens disco, and yes it was repetitive but the children enjoyed themselves and we enjoyed watching them. We found the entertainments staff really friendly and they remembered everyone's name.
We thought the food was excellent every night something different and yes maybe chips were on the menu everynight, but it was only a 3 star hotel and there was plenty of alternatives to the chips. If its fancy Spainish food you are after maybe a higher rating hotel would be a better option.
Couldn't fault the snacks available during the day never any problems getting food, drinks or ice cream.
Have stayed all inclusive before but this hotel far beats any others.

The food was splendid, we had Lobster, Fillet Steak, and Smoked Salmon and not forgetting the Traditional Sunday Roast.
Breakfast was very good nothing like some French Toast and a cafe l
