The hotel was excellent and clean, food was fantastic great choice, rooms were clean and staff very helpful and friendly. You could either walk to the beach or get the free bus. Hotel situated within easy walking distance to the main shopping centre and local bus stops. Our only problem was the entertainment it was the same every night so we mainly went out in the evenings. Will be going back again in august and next year best hotel by miles in this stretch of the island.

We stayed at the Lagomonte for 2 weeks and we had a good time, despite it raining a couple of days. We were lucky with our room because it was a corner one and very large, compared to the room the people we went with had. It was kept nice and clean. The food was nice, but there wasn't a lot of choice, especially for vegetarians, there is only so much salad and cheese and chips a person can eat!! We enjoyed the entertainment, we won the bingo one night, though a couple of the acts were so awful they were funny!! The staff were nice and helpful, and a big Hi to Carlos behind the bar. The lifeguard however was grumpy and unfriendly. Although people did queue for sunbeds we never had a problem getting any, though the pool is very small for a hotel of that size. However, it was clean. The lifts were also tiny and appeared to have a mind of their own!!!!! The minibus down to the beach and back was an excellent service and the driver was lovely!!!! All in all a good holiday!

Hiya guys, My name is matt and i was one of the 4 entertainment team but unfortunatly i had to come home only dew to an accident in which i broke my knee cap.
Can i just state a few facts about some of the complaints:-
* There is only a certain amount of sunbeds due to health and safety reasons.
* There is brilliant entertainment in the hotel we work extra long hours (10am -midnight, there is lots to do in the hotel if you join in you cant complain about the games if you didnt join in.
*As an entertainer I got to know a lot of background info about the place such as the lake outside of the hotel doesn

This was the best holiday ever. We were there for two weeks and it was my 40th birthday. My girlfriend had a broken foot and I was the one looking after the children but we had the best time.
The hotel was perfectly clean always. The food you could not ask for anything better the kids were entertained all the time. I even joined in on the adult games.
Chris,Neeley and Vanessa were brill our son and daughter fell in love with them all they really knew how to keep the children amused.
The beach was not that far away but we could not walk due to a broken foot in the party so we got the free bus which was always on time and the drivers were really helpfull.
We enjoyed every minute of our holiday, and we even got to watch all the footy COME ON ENGLAND (chris enjoyed it to ha ha )we liked it that much that we have booked to go again in September. Do not listen to the bad write ups they must not know a good thing if it hit them on the head.
See you all soon trust us you will have a great time.

I stayed at this hotel in october nearing the end of the season. This was the worst holiday i have ever had. The main reason being my brother and most of the other guests contracted food poisoning. I have read other reviews stating how good the food is, so the only answer i can come with is maybe the chefs couldn't be bothered cooking the food correctly anymore.
The hotel itself is very clean and tidy, but the conservatory where the entertainment occurs is inadequate. On the many occasions it rained it leaked through the tent and made us all very wet.
The surroundings of the hotel were perhaps the best bit of the hotel, it was very idyllic and peaceful with just a short walk to the beach and main town.
Overall, nice staff, nice surroundings just a shame about everything else.

hotel is very clean & tidy. plenty of clean towels & bed linen when needed.food is excellent with plenty of choice even for kids. staff were very friendly &helpful. would go back tomorrow given the chance.

This hotel is great the food is excellent lots to choose from,the location is good its 10min walk to the beach shops etc.Hotel staff are really pleasant and the entertainment is really good both for adult and kiddies we have stayed here twice and wouldnt hesitate to go back.
