Location
I was a little concerned when I found out that we were staying just outside Alcudia in an area called Playa de Muro but it was actually a superb location. The hotel was based just a couple of minutes walk from the beach which has beautiful white sand and a breathtaking view of mountains. What more could you ask for!
The hotel was clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned five times a week.
The food at the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was 5 euros per adult and 3 per child with a huge selection for all nationalities. Lunch again was excellent with a massive choice and very reasonable prices. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel because we found an excellent restaurant called Yolanda which sold the most delicious food at excellent prices. If you fancy going there you come out of the hotel and turn left at the main road and Yolanda is the first turning on the right. It is situated right on the beach again with a stunning view (just past The Swan Restaurant and Bar) and would definitely recommend Steak Diana.
The transfer from the hotel was actually quite quick, it took about 1 hr and 15 mins and we were in our hotel room.
Would definitely go back to Alcudia although perhaps not to the same hotel. As I say it was excellent and good value for money however we did feel that the pictures in the brochure made the hotel, rooms and pool area look much bigger than they actually were.
The hotel has two buildings, the main one which did sometimes get quite noisy with parents letting their kids run up and down the hallways until the early hours (thank god for air conditioning because most of the time we didn't hear them) and there is a quieter building which some people we met were staying in and they said that the rooms were very quite and were slightly bigger.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

First impressions of the hotel are brilliant because of the well designed and contemporary reception. But, The lifts would often break down and my relatives often got stuck in the lift just going up and down for 5 minutes. The rooms are fine but as we had to have 3 rooms we could notice the faults in each. The kitchen was missing appliances so only 2 rooms had kettles, only one of us had bread knives and so on...
The worst thing about staying at Alcduia suites was the maid service!. It was the worst we have ever had and we have been to other Thomson hotels before. They did not make beds they left the sheets on top of the bed for you to make, they left the room dirty leaving it for us which you do not want to do on your holiday. The only 'service' they provided was changing the bin and changing the towels.
The best aspect of this holiday for me was the staff at the hotel they were absolutely lovely, It was a shame to leave. The hotels restaurant is wonderful and we eat there on many occasions. It made things a lot easier if we didn't want to walk far and we could have a decent meal on site.
The pool was overcrowded with inflatables which did not make it an enjoyable experience competing with inflatables and dozens of children. They even left inflatables in the pool after they Had finished with them, which i found rude. Also, this has been said before but there was no mid way stage in the pool it's either really deep or the kids pool. Most days we made our way to the beach.
Overall this Hotel would be brilliant if it wasn't for the maid service.

The pool wasn't overcrowded and was cleaned daily it was perfect for the kids to play in and very safe, not being very deep.
We had lunch at the hotel on numerous occasions and the food was always good and value for money. The best place that we found to eat was Smiths we couldn't fault his lovely meals.
The beach was perfect and only knee deep it wasn't overcrowded and was really clean.
We would definitely visit this hotel again, an ideal family holiday hotel.

We were impressed with the hotel as soon as we entered the reception area as we were taken aback by the sheer cleanliness of the hotel and the general atmosphere.
Our room looked out over the pool area on the second floor, we were concerned prior to our arrival about being allocated a room with a balcony as we were travelling with two three year olds but our fears were put aside when we saw the height of the balcony wall plus glazed railing.
The rooms were very well equipped with plenty storage space.
The kitchen was fully equipped also and the apartment was fully air conditioned. There was satellite television and twice daily there was advd channel that played children

My only gripe would be that the kitchen cupboards were a bit high to reach things at the back. The staff were very friendly, especially to the children. Food in the poolside snack bar was very reasonably priced and service good.
Location of hotel in a quieter area of Alcudia, Playa de Muro. Our kids loved the nightly kids disco although we did tire of the same songs night after night, they didn't and we had to buy the CD to have our own mini-disco back home.
Hotel run free kids club is run morning and afternoon giving mum and dad time alone to lounge by the pool! Would definetly visit Alcudia Suite again.

We didn't eat at the hotel very often because there are lots of good bars and restaurants in the area, but when we did eat there, the food was good and reasonably priced.
The rooms were clean and pretty well equipped but I have to say the beds could have been a bit comfier.
The evening entertainment was very good, we didn't go every night but when we did, we enjoyed ourselves. Although we didn't take our 12 year old daughter with us this time, I would have no hesitation in taking her. The entertainers were brilliant with the children and there appeared to be lots for them to do.
We liked the location because it was close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. All in all, we had a very good holiday and would stay there again.

I cannot say enough about this hotel, all the standards were tremendous, from cleanliness to the room sizes, mine was very spacious. The added bonus of Air Condition,SAT TV,and a very adequate kitchen(microwave, toaster, kettle)made the stay very enjoyable.
The beach is across the road, and don`t be put off by reports saying its busy,it ain`t, and there is a signal controlled crossing right outside hotel.
Shops and supermarkets are all nearby, but go to the one towards Pt Alcudia,Eroski its called, much cheaper.
Didn`t sample any of the entertainmnet at night, but sounded ok for kids, different theme every night.
I would definatly stay there again and also ask for the same room again when booking, which idid this time and all was acknolegded.I recommend room 405.

The Staff here are very very friendly and very polite, The reception staff, well my boys fell in love with the ladies on reception, but that was because they paid them some attention and gave them pictures to colour every night, and gave them a free t-shirt to wear.
The entertainment was really good, they have kid
