We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

The resort was clean,entertainment was ok,The Queens Bar was Kareoke & Card bingo,but every night the same got a bit boring,15 minute walk to beach area & shops,1/2 hr walk to The Port,5 mins to water park,Thompsons mega day out to the water park was ok,bit expensive for what it was.
Plenty to do....Horse & Cart rides,go-karting,pedal bikes for families....

We found the resort to be very clean, Inc the beach and the town itself.
There was also a little boat to and from the beach, you can also walk which takes about 10 mins. It’s much nicer to go by boat!
The entertainment was excellent around the resort we went to "cheers" to warm up for the night and onto the disco club Bells to finish off the night.
The highlight of my holiday was the trip around the island. We were collected by bus outside Bellevue, went across the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, to a connecting boat trip around the coast, this trip took us down to Puerto de soller, where we took an old fashion authentic train ride back to Palma, and from Palma back to Bellevue.
We also went to the markets in the old village of Alcudia, lots to bargain for, leather goods, jewellery, vegetables, clothes, toys from here we took a horse and coach ride through the town of Alcudia back to Bellevue
Yes we would go back to stay again

very clean resort, with good entertainment both on the complex and outside on the main strip
beach is fantastic for young children and those who just want to paddle, sand beach no gravel!!
would vist this site again and would certainly take the grand children.
do not expect help from Air Tours as we only saw them on the first day when they sold us tickets to a show in Palma top price tickets but because of thier planning we arrived late and were given the worst seats in the house.Air tours need help in customer relations.

The resort was very clean and there was lots to do i would say it was more for the younger children not very lively at night but good if you just want a family hoilday the beach was ok but didnt go in the sea .But it was all kept very clean the next town was quite a distance to walk but the buses ran every 15 minutes. We would visit again sometime but like to try differant places but it his well worth a vist.

The resort was not what I was expecting in a family resort, the streets & canals were dirty & smelly.
The beach was exellent and the Port area was very nice, good restaurants and Bars.
Meals were quited expensive, however, if you order from menu of the day you could get a good quality 3 course meal, including a drink from 7 - 12 Euros.

Alcudia is a lovely resort . It is the second time we have visited. The beaches are first class and very clean. The sea was a bit cold when we went in May. Lots of lovely restaurants and good shops. The marina is well worth a visit with lots of good eating places.

Plus points:
* Nice big sandy beach
* "Purpose built resort" type place
* Plenty of shops and bars
* Family orientated
* Feels safe and pleasant
* Nice surrounding countryside
Minus points (depending on your veiwpoint!):
* Miles from Palma
* All looks the same
* Not a 'cultural' experience(!)
I can't really say much about the resort area as we didn't spend much time there, we were mostly straight out in the hire car to other areas of the island for most of the time.
We stayed in the Alcudia Pins which on the plus side is self contained and has nearly everything you need onsite but on the minus side is more than a walk's worth to anywhere else.
From what I saw, the resort Port d'Alcudia looked fine being more of a family orientated place and of medium size. Most areas of any activity seem centred along the long apartment and hotel lined sandy beach. The beach looked clean and pleasant, I would imagine it gets quite crowded in high season but then so does anywhere like this.
As this area has grown up on itself as a resort and not tacked on the side of a big town it feels quite safe. If you've got kids this will appeal and also there'll be plenty for them to do.
I'm sure this place should cater for anyone and everyone's basic needs on a "couple of week" break as it has plenty of purpose built shops and bars.
If you're looking for a lie-on-the-beach-while-the-kids-play-in-the-sea type holiday in a pleasant area then this is your bag.
If not, use it as a base and hire a car.

I thought Alcudia a great centre for a holiday. We stayed ib the Port and one could have happily amused oneself there for a 2 week holiday - marina, beach ,bars, shops. A 10 - 15 min walk away is the old town where the market is held Tues and Sun - a bit more interesting than many spanish resort markets as it's based in the narrow old streets of the historic walled old town. plenty to see here and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Dont bother with a bus although they are frequent they are usually packed. A 10 - 15 min walk in the other direction is to the 'new' town with many Brit bars, pubs etc. The nature reserve is a bit further. If you like a solitary walk , try Alcanada - the views over the sea are superb. 1E bus fare to Porto Pollensa - lovely small town up the coast. Something for everyone!

Would go to Alcudia again but not this hotel,beaches are great and its a nice place,cant really comment on local entertainment cause ddint really check it out.What i would say is that the Spanish attitude to holiday makers may well come back to haunt them in time,cause if they dont want our custom we will go elsewhere to places that do!!!so to the Spanish think about this!!!and dont moan when we all go elsewhere in future!!!!
