We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

I must agree that the smell that came from the lake this year was not very pleasant, and to walk around the lake you would find it difficult not to stand in some dog poo, but that is down to the dog owners who should clean up after their dogs and not expect others to do it for them

Alcudia port is really lovely - very picturesque and a good array of decent shops and restaurants. However it is a good half hour walk from the Hote marte.
Beach is lovely but again good 20 mins walk.
Directly opposite hotel Marte is a network of streets and canals with life threatening bridges held together with rusty metal and rotting wood - dont even go there with a pushchair - its impossible!!

There were a few decent restaurants/bars in close vicinity, 'Posh Paddys' was good bar with live Irish music until midnight. We did venture further afield and went to Puerto Pollensa two nights (17 euros in taxi, about 15/20 minutes, but could travel by public transport). Lots of nice restaurants to choose from and Church Square is very pretty in the evenings. We also went to the Port of Alcudia to eat a couple of nights which was very enjoyable. We found Puerto Pollensa and the Port of Alcudia to be clean and welcoming - well worth a visit. Not too keen on the centre of Alcudia itself. The sandy beach, which Alcudia bay is renowned for, was great as were the warm waters of the Med. We spent all our days at the beach (except for our visit to water park which children thoroughly enjoyed) as the pool did tend to get rather busy but I suppose we were in peak season. The children did always spend the last half hour of the day in the pool on the way back from beach - so handy! If staying in this area would definitely recommend Eden Alcudia as value for money and would stay here again. In fact, didn't want to come home!

The Resort is very clean.
There are lots of reasonable priced places for meals I would recommend the Peach Pit for Exellent meals. The Entertainer there is Exellent he entertains the kids then there is a karaoke afterwards later on in the evening.

Alcudia is lovely great bars and restaurants.
Beach is lovely and clean sunbeds E3.50 try the Peach Pit, Cheers Bar,the Flying Scotsman, the Harp Bar and the Queens pub.
Get out and explore the resort don't use all inclusive as an excuse not to try anywhere and Trotters bar was good as well for a wee drink.

Alcudia's best feature is without doubt it's long curving beach, with a warm sea that seems to allow you to wade out for a 100 yards and still be standing in water up to your thighs. We found the beach got quite crowded, so get there on a morning for a good spot.
Facilities around the beach area were good, with beachside cafes/bars every so often along the beach length.
Alcudia's centre is a typical resort centre, with restaurants, bars and shops in plentiful numbers. The marina was a pleasant enough area for a walk. The 'Old Town' is definitely worth visiting on market days.
This is a good resort for families and couples to 'chill out'.

Fantastic beach!! Not too overcrowded even in high season.
Try Einsteins for a cheap but good pint, with friendly staff Adam and Andy.
Champions bar is good for food and friendly staff.
