We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Quieter area of Alcudia, not as many families.
Good restaurants. Plenty of touristy shops and
good range for everyone

The nearby Waterpark is very good, the only drawback is that the pools you land in at the end of the slides are very deep (could hardly touch the bottom).
Beach is beautiful, sea is like a bath it's that warm.
Alcudia is fantastic and in fact we are going again this September but are going All Inclusive at another hotel as we found Self Catering with 3 children ended up being more expensive than Half Board/All Inclusive.

Resort was great for my first time abroad.
Streets very clean, restaurants nice.
Entertainment was nothing special but kept us amused.
Beach gorgeous, minus the big brown jellyfish that seemed to linger a bit.
Would definitely return to Alcudia.

Reort was good. Good variety of pubs and clubs. Go to Cheers bar, good laugh in there, and plenty of lads behind the bar!
Beach was nice, but the only problem was that I got stung by a jelly fish as soon as I went in there, so I had to get something for it, and spent the rest of the day with this cream on me in the shade, with the rest of my mates, sunbathing!!

The resort was very nice, but I went with my boyfriend and found that it was mainly for families. The beach was absolutely gorgeous, and we had a laugh at the fruit sellers that were on the beach everyday! The drink's were quite expensive there, about the same price as in England. The bars weren't very good. I wasn't looking for a manic 24 hour party destination, but the best bar was Linekars, where they played the sport. Cheers bar was quite good, it was just ashame that the disco started so late. A great place for kids though before the disco starts.

Alcudia is a big place in my opinion split into 3 areas. Alcudia Pins which is mainly hotels and bars and lots of germans. Then there is "Blackpool" Alcudia, lots of bars, karaoke and families and kiss me quick hats and tatt shops. Finally there is Alcudia Town, which there is a harbour, shops, decent restuarants etc. It doesn't matter where you stay as walking to each area isn't a problem if you don't mind walking lots. There are no hills or anything. The beach is lovely and if you walk along the footpath (approx 2 miles) alongside the beach it takes you from "Blackpool" Alcudia to Alcudia Town. Look for the lights of Alcudia Town and walk there.
Never found a curry house in two weeks but there are lots of Chinese take aways and pizza places. Go for a Tapas meal - it's what Spain is all about really isn't it.
Not for the 18-30 crowd but if you seek nightlife and beer etc you will find something to please, if you are there a week.
The beach is great but go right at the beach entrance as it is much quieter than going right towards the big beach front hotels.
Try the Alcudia market once a week - not the crappy markets you normally get the side streets have some great stalls.
