Location
The food was outstanding with excellent choice and presentation.
The hotel is in an excellent location close to the beach, bars and shops.
We stayed at this hotel for the first week of a stay & cruise holiday and with no children under 16 allowed found it to be a peaceful and relaxing way to start our holiday.
We will visit this hotel again without doubt.

The Levente is a Thomson Gold property which means there are no persons under 16 staying there and when families did enter the complex for evening shows they were quickly informed of this by the Thomson Gold Staff. When we stayed all the guests were British.
We had an fabulous stay at the hotel, the food was excellent and the entertainment overall was good.
There are limited sunbeds around the pool and beach area which unfortunately were quickly 'reserved' with towels by selfish Brits and often left for hours without use! Can't blame the Germans! This in our view ought to be monitored and guests reminded of the no sunbed reservation policy.
Overall we were very impressed by the Hotel which has had a recent revamp and looks well.

I found the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly and standards of cleanliness amongst the best.
Food consisted of a buffet option each meal, well presented and thoughtfully chosen with consideration given to unadventurous palates. Ok for a week but repetative if there for any longer.
If you like entertainment there was plenty on offer to satisfy most tastes. If like me, you wanted to just relax, the entertainment wasn't intrusive.
The hotel was located in between the harbour and promonade. A reasonably busy area at night, fantastic if you want to be in the hub of everything. I would have preferred a quieter location.

After having some concerns as to the quality of the hotel and the remoteness of the resort pre cruise. This was soon answered as we noticed that staff and guest were on first name terms we later found out on speaking with guest this was a result of people returning year after year.
The pool area was rather small but again we managed to get sunbeds without any problems as people just came and went all day.
Tables were always clean and available, the meals although not to the cruise standard were good.
The reps that entertained us tried very hard and in general done a good job over in the Levante hotel sister to Levante park.
All said we have another cruise coming up in 6 weeks
and we have opted once again for the levante park as a result of the good walks good meals and relaxing time had last year we have decided to return for round two.

Our room was on the fourth floor of the seven level main building. The balcony was of reasonable size, with two chairs and a washing line. The sea view (which we paid the usual supplement per person) although acceptable, would have been better from rooms on either side of the other block, which faced up and down the beach.
The hotel is billed as four stars, with its own sauna, steam room, two indoor hot pools, outdoor pool and ballroom/lounge with stage. Whilst the facilities were acceptable for an out-of-season stay in March, in our view they would have been of questionable value during the busy season when taking account of the number of rooms and unspecified number of additional persons who had access to these facilities from the two other adjacent hotels in the chain and non-residents.
The hotel buffet style restaurant was of good size and had a wide range of hot and cold meals, which could have benefited from a better standard of cooking on some of the dishes (i.e. soggy vegetables). The breakfast menu tended to remain the same, the evening dinner varied and had a reasonable choice of fish and meat dishes, some of which were cooked to order. Two gala dinners were held on the Saturday and Wednesday, which appeared to prompt more people to dress up on those evenings. We were disappointed by the restricted wine list, which was surprisingly uncreative for a four star hotel in a country which produces high quality wines. In our view they were at the lower end of the quality scale.
We thought the bar drinks tended to be reasonably priced, but found the draft beers of poor quality compared to other locations on the island selling the same products.
During our one week stay, we saw no children in the hotel, which lived up to the brochure statements - not sure whether this would be the case during the summer months. Also, all the people we spoke to were from the UK, if there were other nationalities, they were not evident.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought it represented good value for money for what we had paid via an internet booking only a matter of weeks before travelling to Majorca. Given our comments above, we were happy with the hotel and would stay again if visiting Cala Bona, but would consider the hotel to be three stars due to the restricted facilities.

We travelled with Thomson from Coventry Airport to Palma. Coventry Airport is tiny, and the terminal buildings are comprised of 3 large portacabins

We got sun beds everyday albeit not by the side of the pool and we never went to get them before 8.15 am.
It was great to have a sea view and to look out to sea every morning.
