Because of the time of year we went there wasn't much open so it's unfair to judge the place as far as shops, bars and cafe's go but it was very pleasant fornt and all flat.

A lovely quiet resort. Most hotels have entertainment each night and in the square at the harbour, there is usually some form of street entertainment. A short stroll to Cala Millor will give you more lively entertainment. We had a couple of lunches in the Rope & Anchor bar near the Cala Bona hotel, both staff and meals were lovely. There are about 5 different restaurants in a perfect location just behind the Moreyo hotel. We ate at the Melis (best ever sangria!) and the Haweli Indian, both lovely.

No local beach, but a short 20 min walk to Cala Millor.

Cala Bona is not too busy, but still has plenty of bars and resteraunts to choose from. Great English food from the Rope and Anchor.

a very clean resort, only spoiled by lazy inconsiderate specimens who can't be bothered to find a bin for their rubbish.
Cala bona beach small, but adequate if you get a sunbed, Cala millor beach 100 times better and much bigger and only 10 mins walk the other way
For a good pint and verywell cooked home made food try the liverpool bar on the front heading towards Cala Millor just at the start of the beach,

There are a lot of restaurants for the evening especially around the marina. If you like Italian then Paparazzi is great, there's also a good Indian called Huweli but the service can be very, very, very slow one night we waited 2 hours for our main course!
The local beach is not very good there's a better one at Cala Millor.
It's worth visiting the market on a Friday in Son Severa there some stalls with the usual rubbish but there are a lot of nice ones as well especially jewelery.
You can walk along the promenade into Cala Millor which takes about 20/30 mins depending on how hot you are!

smugglers is an english bar located next to the harbour and i would strongly reccomend it. we visited the beach once and it was beatiful.you will have to walk to the centre of cala bona or cala millor to get some decent entertainment from men playing with fire to elvis.

I would strongly like to reccomend the English owned smugglers bar and also the Rope and Anchor which are located next to the harbour. I would reccomend this resort to anyone thinking of visiting the area.
