Cala Bona is clean, neat and tidy, there pleny of bars and places to eat, the best of which we found is Sanddancers, if you go there you will have a fantastic night the two lads who run it Faz and Sharky never stop all night, not to mention Faz,s wife Tracey who cooks food and serves behind the bar and we were bad laughing every time we went there.
There is no beach right outside the hotel as it overlooks the harbour but a small one about a ten minute stroll away. There are some street entertainers who go round the resort and are very good, watch out for the guy on the four wheeled cycle he is VERY funny,a bit of a clown, bit of a juggler.
We will more than likley go back there next year

Cala Bona as a whole is amazing and a really nice place. Being close to Cala Millor is an advantage, as there are more shops etc. however there is plenty going on in Cala Bona, and we will be going back very soon.

Excellent resort for all but proably not 18-30's. It is very flat so ideal for people in wheelchairs or older people. There is a good choice of bars, restaurants, entertainment and shops.

Cala Bona is small and a little bit shabby in places with small manmade gravelly/rocky beaches. Harbour area is main focus with restaurants, shops etc. Entertainment is mainly hotel based (i.e. not very good) or bar/cafe.There is one nightclub which stays open until 4 a.m. but mostly all quiet by midnight. 15 minute walk along prom takes you into Cala Millor which has a lovely white sand beach and more shops etc.
Cala Bona fine for older people with good local bus service. Not for beach lovers. Cycle lane right along coast so good for the active type too.

A great resort to people watch!. In the evening there is some street entertainment and a lot of the local bars have different types of acts appearing.
Cala Bona is not what I would regard as a beach resort. The Levante Hotel has its own beach and there is a small public beach, but beware there is a lot of seaweed which they do clear, but some days there are large piles of it on the beach.
This is our fifth visit and we will certainly be back.

Cala Bona has something for everyone. There are a lot of elderly Brits there as the resort is completely flat and easy for walking/mobility scooters etc. There are plently of British bars/restaurants if that is what you want, but there are also plenty of other quality International restaurants with good reasonably priced food. Drinks are reasonable in most places too!
The big let down was the beaches. At first glance they look idylic, 3 small man made coves, very safe for swimming, snorkelling etc. However, the sand is very stoney and hard to walk on. There is seaweed everywhere and it is near impossible to get into the sea for a swim as it is so rocky. Such a shame becasue the water was so warm and inviting.
All in all, we enjoyed our holiday and I would return to Cala Bona in the future, just to a different hotel.
