I have just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Cala D'or Playa with my two daughters aged 6 and 2. The apartments are clean and well equipped and the staff are helpful and friendly.
The entertainment staff at the hotel are excellent, keeping the kids entertained throughout the day and then at night with a kids disco from 9-10pm and a stage show afterwards. My 6 year old also enjoyed the kids club.
The hotel is an excellent location within walking distance of 4 lovely beaches and plenty of bars and restaurants. We went to the beach everyday and then relaxed by the pool in the afternoon. The pool is nice and clean with a separate kids pool.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back again next year.

We loved the apartment. Spacious, clean and well equipped with electric hob, kettle, toaster and microwave.
The pool was terrific with a separate kid's pool so we knew our daughter would be safe. The entertainment was generally good with plenty going on throughtout the day and into the evening and night. Our daughter really enjoyed the mini disco each evening.
We ate out mostly but we did enjoy the weekly BBQ and had the occassional lunchtime snack too. The staff were helpful and courteous and made our stay very enjoyable.
In fact, we enjoyed it so much we're going back again this summer!

Cala D'Or Playa Apartments are the nicest apartments I have ever stayed in. The hotel staff were most pleasant and the entertainers were fantastic. The entertainment started at 11am in the morning until 1am the following morning including kiddies clubs, poolside games, pool games, kiddies disco and a stage show afterwards. I would definitely go back there again as will most of the families we met there. All the amenities of the location are so near and yet far enough away for quietness. The kiddies playground was perfect as no matter where you were, they were always in sight and it was perfectly safe and shady.

We had a fabulous holiday in the Cala D'Or Playa. Having had a hideous past record of disastrous holidays we were hoping for something better this year and we were not diasppointed.
The apartments were lovely - spacious with large balconies and pretty clean - although the maids didn't clean 5 times a week as promised! They were well equipped too with kettle and microwave etc. Although there was air conditioning, we didn't get it as it was a bit expensive but it was boiling without!
The complex was lovely, clean and friendly with all English/Irish clientele. The pool was large and warm but there was a bit too much reserving of sun loungers - as usual - but not as bad as other resorts. The pool was lovely and warm and our son had a great time playing in it. There is a separate kids pool so I knew he was safe without me having to watch all the time.
There was entertainment every day and night - I found it quite annoying during the day as we would just get the baby off to sleep and then the loudspeakers would come on and wake her up and the night entertainment was naff but the kids loved it adn you had to say that the entertainment staff worked tirelessly! Our 5 year old had the time of his life meeting loads of friends - it was a real family complex - and going to the kids club which he loved and the kids club reps did a great job. He loved the mini disco every night too - but we've had to put up with his renditions of the songs over and over again as it was the same music every night - I will never forget that Holiday Express song as long as I live!!!!!!

I went on holiday with my family that have not been to this apartment before. I have been before, and I would go again and so would the rest of my family we enjoyed it the staff were really nice.

We have just had a great holiday at the Cala Dor Playa, apartments are large and very clean, they are set in a quiet part of the resort but only a couple of mins walk from the shops and resturants. The main town is only 5 mins walk and the harbour is 15 mins away. We visited so many of the restaurants to mention and we never had a bad meal. Some of them are a bit expensive but if you look their are pleanty within everyones budget.I must mention the entertainment staff Suzanne, Richard and Audrey, they do a great job and work very hard our kids loved joining in on all the fun. The apartments have now got air conditioning but we did not need it as the weather was very mixed for the time of year.[it costs 35 euros a week]. WE WOULD go back to these apartments as we and the other guests we spoke to had no complaints, alot of people were going back next year.

We stayed at Cala D'or Playa because they were recommended to us by friends, they didn't see us wrong. We were only there 2 days and had already decided that we would return.
Apartments were basic but they had everything you needed like microwave, kettle, toaster and we availed of the air conditioning which was wonderful

was there in august 2003 and found the location ideal for us with a kiddie in a buggie, close to the beach as well as the square.
the night time entertainment in was a bit naff but the kids semed to enjoy it.
the pool seemed always clean and tidy has did the eating area. the food they served was cheap and cheerful, just what you want especially if you have a girl like mine who likes ice-cream!(that was just the mum)
entertainment crew through the day kept everyone entertained without hassling you, and the kids enjoyed the kids club!
rooms were small and very warm especially at night , good idea to take a fan with you (bigger the better)
no problem getting a sun lounger, somewhere to put it was a different matter. still some people getting up at the crack of dawn to put towels down, and not using them till 4.00pm (not needed but thats the brits for you)
the bar in the foyer was a good place to cool down after a long night (air con)

Just returned from this fantastic complex. The apartments are clean and well equipped, probably the best I've ever stayed in. Excellent location, down the end of a residential road but within easy reach of the centre of Cala d'Or. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Sunbeds can be problem but hey, what's new! My only complaint is, there was no air conditioning. When I booked this holiday, the brochure did state air con but then I received a letter saying it hadn't been installed for this season. I did hire a fan but it wasn't always adequate. All in all a great time was had at these apartments.

The hotel was brilliant.
I enjoyed it so much. We never left the building.
The whole hotel was singing and dancing or we would chase the reps around the pool and then chuck them in.
We went for two weeks and we all loved it.
