The rooms are not spacious at all, they are quite small in fact, very basic but were quite clean.
The food is ok. Very plain and very greasy, even the non-greasy dishes were greasy! If you enjoy truckers food you'll enjoy this food.
Entertainment is poor.
Pool is very packed and not worth trying to go for a swim.
The sea is nice but the beach to the sea is packed.
Hotel staff are ok, the reception staff can be a bit abrupt and unhelpful.
There are many faults with this hotel and its sister hotel the 'Corfu' which they need to look at soon.
All in all a very below par 3 star hotel which is not worth a second visit.

The hotel was very clean and kept in good order.
The hotel staff were generally very helpful and to be honest didnt have to wait at the bar very long day or night, shame they serve the drinks in smelly disposable plastic glasses!
Entertainment was fine, started at 10-30am and kept kids and adults alike entertained all day long, didnt see my son for most of the time. Evening entertainment was hit and miss-not that bad though.
A very friendly family hotel that I was fortunate enough to meet lots of new people at.
I was one of the ones who didnt have a sunbed all week though, people were getting up at 7:00am to reserve their spot then queuing at 9:00am to get their bed- sheer madness!!

food for an all inclusive was quite good especially the carvarys what were excellent, kids had there own sections as well that they loved.
hotel was spotless and the staff very friendly.
hotel location was superb right on the beach and safe,
kids loved the rock jumping as did i,a few jellyfish but nothing to worry about.
entertainment was good for kids and ok for adults.
would definitely visit again,
cala d,or only 5 euros in cab and is buzzing with great bars and resturants.

We were very dissapointed!
Staff are rude, food is like eating in a greasy cafe, all food seems to have been cooked in a ton of lard. You have to queue for 15-20 minutes to get a drink from the bars. Very noisy and busy and no way of getting a sunbed unless you get up at 7:00 am and reserve one with your towels, which you are not supposed to do according to the rules of the hotel but this is broken by everyone and all the other rules, nobody enforces any of the rules here.
All in all below par 3 star hotel, will not stay again and feel very cheated of a nice holiday.
Enough said!

The rooms are spacious with 3 beds in but still plenty of room to manouve and were cleaned with towels changed daily, and a good air con machine which came in very handy, the dining hall is large never once did we have to get wait for a table.
You are met at the doors by the restaraunt staff or the manager who may i say is drop dead gorgeous, my niece had a large crush on him, he looks like Donny Osmond what more can i say!The food is excellant always a large selection for everyone even a veggie section, you dont go hungry try the moose its gorgeous.
Around the whole of the hotel is plenty of seating in or outside so you can relax when need be. Entertainment is mediocre but the comidian is halarious, also the Beatles tribute is worth watching too.Magdalana the Polish woman behind the bar is lovely we all took a shine to her,The pool is very hard to get a bed around we only managed it once in the 2 weeks we were there but the sea is like a pool anyway so thats were we went to.
What more can I say no faults whatsoever only just mind the floor and stairs they are VERY slippery.
We are all going back next year its that good cant wait!

The location is fantastic and we had stunning views from our room, I really loved the area just a short walk from the hotel and you are on the headland with nothing but sea for miles. A short walk in the opposite direction and you come across the centre of Cala Egos and there are enough shops, bars and restaurants to meet most peoples needs but no clubs you need to go in to Cala D'or for that which is a 5 Euro taxi ride or 3 Euro return on the little train.
The hotel was spotless our room was cleaned every day and the beds changed twice in the week that we were there and the towels changed as often as you wanted, just put the dirty ones in the bath and they will leave you clean ones. All the staff were very happy and friendly and although the rules state only 2 drinks per person, after the 1st day and they got to know your face you could get more than that especially if you dropped a coin in their tip box, they ring the bell every time they get a tip.
The entertainment was not very good but I have put this down to it being the 1st week that they were open and they were still getting organised, but there was no doubt at all that all the entertainment staff worked really hard and I'm sure it will improve greatly as the season progresses.
The Food!! I don't know where to start really as I was so dissapointed, there wasn't really anything wrong with it apart from it could have been hotter, which it seemed to be in the Corfu the couple of times we ate over there. There was very little variety and they seem to think that we want to eat English dishes all the time, there was Chicken Pie,Steak and Kidney Pie,Sheperds Pie,Cottage Pie,Liver and Onions you get the picture!
Spinach Cannellonni was on offer on 3 of the 1st 5 days and Spring Rolls on 2 of the 1st 3 days, this was on the vegeterian selection that also has Cauliflower or Broccolli in batter and Stuffed tomatoes and every day hard boiled eggs with a different topping. There was a rice dish every day with a different name but I'm sure it was the same one. Paella finally came out on Saturday lunchtime but it wasn't worth waiting for. They also had some lovely Mussels on Saturday lunchtime. There were fish dishes but to be honest a lot of them looked like something the cat had brought up especially the Andulasion Cuttlefish which was still completely untouched at the end of service.
The sweets were fine but again the same old things every day
We are not fussy eaters and have stayed AI lots of times but I was so dissapointed that despite the fantastic location we will not be going back to this hotel unless they can sort out the food.
I would love to go back to the area and we maylook into hiring a villa next year.

ROOMS: Fantastic standard for 3* hotel, tidy and comfortable - corridors of hotel always clean and well lit.
FOOD: Good quality but not diverse - during a two week stay we would've eaten elsewhere alot which defeats the all inclusive factor.
LOCATION: Perfect really, peaceful and relaxed but enough bars within walking distance or short cab ride to please everyone.
STAFF: All friendly and professional.
ENTERTAINMENT: These guys are very good with the kids - poolside games in the day and disco/competitions in the evening. Visiting tribute bands/shows and karaoke all good too.
All in all a good family holiday - be careful with your younger children tripping as some of the stone steps (near mini golf and beach area) are a little tricky for toddlers. It's a very european hotel with visitors from all over. Sadly the only disruption was caused by a group of guys from the UK, (north of the border!!) who wanted to fight the barstaff for no reason. Don't come here if you're single.

We didn't use the beach to sunbathe, just to wander down for the children to have a play and a splash about in the sea. There were reports of jelly fish in the sea and children being stung while we were there.
Food - I would rate the food as average. Some strange combinations, but always something to suit everyone. Breakfast was good but the usual hassle of standing at the toasters waiting for your bread to drop out was encountered. The childrens buffet was not in operation even though it was advertised in the brochure - to be fair we didn't ask why but assumed it was because half-term had not yet started. There was enough choice for the children - they enjoyed the roast beef and yorkshire puddings, mash, veg etc. We finished every meal with cheese and biscuits which was very enjoyable. The head waiter seemed constantly run off his feet - he said he had new staff to train to clear tables and clearly they couldn't cope. Tables were often un-laid and with lots of dirty plates or on the other extreme plates snatched away just as you were putting your cutlery down! There is red and white wine on tap (although would have welcomed a carafe to fill to save constant trips to the bar), lager on tap, carbonated soft drinks and juices from the machines.
Cleanliness - apart from the people who insisted on smoking around the pool and leaving their cigarette ends all over, the cleanliness was good. Room cleaned every day and fresh towels left. Not sure whether they would be left if you didn't leave your dirty ones in the bath.
Reception - an english speaking receptionist working in the hotel but any queries we had were always dealt with adequately. You can hire a buggy from reception at 15 euros per week which was handy for our 3 year old who wasn't well during our stay.
Location - just out of the main doors and to the left are a good selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Shops closed at 10pm during our stay and we saw adverts for bars that had nightclubs operating until 4am. We had to visit the medical centre and within 20 minutes we had seen the Dr and had a prescription for antibiotics. As I knew the name of the medication I wanted, it cost 30 euros for the Dr to give us the prescription and 2.29 euros for the medication which we got across the road at the pharmacy. We went out on the 'wally train' which was very cheap. Try and get on in the town as by the time the train gets to the hotel it is usually already full. Got off in Cala D'or and the marina and then came back to the hotel on a return ticket.
Entertainment - having only stayed in hotels with tour operator kids clubs, it was interesting to see the difference in the operation of a hotel run kids club. The children were taken off at 11am for a couple of hours and again at 3pm. We didn't have to register the children and there were no boards giving a listing of the activities. We did ask our rep about the kids club but she hadn't got a clue what was happening and when. The activities weren't particularly suitable for children under 5 - pool games, football, hockey etc but there were a couple of activities our 3 year old could have attended had we have known what was going on beforehand. They did a bag painting activity which was 5 euros but the lack of advertising the programme for the week was frustrating. Katie and Arno were excellent with the children. Evening entertainment started at 8.30 with the kids disco (same songs and dance routines every single night), this was followed by bingo (we did have a win - but you have to listen very hard for the numbers and then the adult entertainment. We saw a Grease show (miming to the songs unfortunately), a couple of outside entertainers, the usual Mr Marina and guest games night and then the entertainment transferred to the pool area for karaoke on our last night.
All in all a very good holiday for the money we paid. The children loved it, rooms comfortable (we left a supermarket loyalty card in the card slot to keep the air con working all day), food okay, annoying to only be able to get 2 drinks at a time when the bar staff were stressed (and they only serve half-pints) but would recommend it as a good family hotel.
