Lovely little place. Really clean. Nice bars, make sure you visit Centrel Perk, Andy & Jo the owners were brill, went too early for clubs.
Make sure to try the little Bar/cafe with the clock/digital thermometer outside. The beach is absolutley gorgeous, a little small but well worth a visit. Don't bother paying for the sun loungers just take a beach towel and get in the sea is wonderful.

We stayed in Calas de Mallorca where we have made friends with a lot of Spanish people and English also who now live there, especially in the Flamingo bar Karen who is English and married to Tony who is a Spaniard they both work very hard and make you feel at home. They also never forget a face they always remember you.
There is a english fish and chip shop quite near the centre and hotel America a Burger King and some good night clubs infact we are going back to Calas de Mallorca again this year.

Resort cleanliness was on a par with the UK. there was litter and dog mess every where, so trying to avoid this and the cracked paving became very difficult.
Although we didn't really use the resort entertainment there seemed to be a lot on offer including sports bars, amusment centres and many shops and restaurants. There was also a small playground, which our 1 yr old loved.
The beach was not very clean and was not really safe for children as the sand shelved and you quickly became out of your depth in the sea. there were also no public conveniences unless you used a nearby cafe which meant having to purchase a drink each time.
The high point of our holiday was a cliff top walk and watching the train which took passengers from the resort hotels to the beach. The train would be great if you are not very mobile as you either have a long walk to the beach or have to negotiate a steep set of steps.

The town is compact but neat and tidy. The beach was also small but neat and tidy,

A few bars and places to eat. The beach needed a little cleaning but was a great place to spend the day. Loved the place

Loads of well stocked shops, restaurants and bars with entertainment nightly and car hire.
The beach was small but clean and had plenty of sun loungers and a cafe-bar. The prices were cheaper than in the airpors for duty free items.

The bay being only a 10 min walk from hotel was clean and the water clear and shallow (ideal for kids).
The town is small but had a varied assortment of shops, I think it would be overcrowded in high season as there are 3-4 very large hotels in the area but the Samoa was the only one open when we stayed.

the only reason i would visit this resort again is for the hotel as the resort itself was quite expensive and did not have much for you to do, the bars were limited and the restaurants looked more like cafes.
