We have just come back from two weeks at this hotel, and was very impressed with the cleanliness of it. The food is good, but lacks a full choice (many evenings had basically the same main meal, loads of choice on the puddings though). The beach just down the road, was ok, but the water did have some rocks close by. If you turn left at the bottom of the hotel road, there is a nice beach about 20 minutes away, very clean and plenty of room to sunbath. The staff were very friendly and the reps did a very good job, and kept us entertained, the evening entertainment was good clean family fun. a couple of comedians appeared and they were very funny without using any bad language.

Stayed at the Picafort Park in May 2002. We can honestly say this was one of our best holidays ever. Being a Thomson Gold holiday, the hotel was mainly for the more mature guest - meaning no kids - but there was a wide range of age groups there.
Hotel was very clean and comfortable, staff were very helpful and polite. Usual daytime entertainment such as skittles, killer darts, etc but the evening entertainment was very good with live shows and comedians. The food was the best we have ever had outside the UK - be prepared to put on some weight!
The hotel was located in a quiet area, the main town and beach being a 20 minute walk away and a nearer, smaller beach only 5 minutes away. The hotel grounds are well kept, although the apartment blocks were a bit drab and could do with a coat of whitewash. The large pool was surrounded by sunbeds but you had to get down early to get one because of the selfish people who did not observe the 'no reserving sunbeds' policy. Other than that it was absolutely fantastic and we would recommend it to anyone.
