The main resort is very picturesque. Lots of bars and restaurants along the sea front. Some lovely shops as well as your usual holiday trinkets. Very family orientated. Didn't sample nightlife of resort as mostly stayed in our hotel and its surrounding bars so can't comment (hence the middle of the road score).

Would recommend this resort to familys with young children or the more mature traveller.

The resort of Can Picafort was clean. Didnt actually use the resort entertainment as we usually stayed at our resort complex in the evening.

The beach is beautiful.

I have been to Ca'n Picafort 4 times before, it's got something for everyone. It's not as lively as Alcudia or the South-West resorts, but there's more going on than there is in, say, Puerto Pollensa. It's well situated if you want to explore the Northeast coast, and there are bus connections to Alcudia, where the beach is much better.

The beach at Ca'n Picafort is nice enough though, albeit a little narrow along the main strip. There's lots of bars and restaurants and even a few clubs. The standard of food varies wildly. We had some great meals, and some awful ones.

Having holidayed all over Majorca, I was a bit disappointed at the lack of variety, though. You have to work hard to escape the 'french fries with everything' culture. Still, if this is your cup of tea, there are some great places to eat. Monaco is quite good, as is Vinicius, both on the pedestrianised avenue through the resort centre. Marisco, down at the Harbour is good too.

The Places along the front are generally OK, though you will struggle to find anything like an original menu. Williams Bar on via Suissa is great for lunch, and has a great atmosphere for drinks too, (as do most of the bars, to be fair.)

The Biergarden opposite Burger King on the main crossroads is fantastic for people watching, as well as having some of the best beer in town! You DO pay a little extra for it though! In truth, there isn't really a bad bar in town, but a word of warning.

The Caribbean theme bar along the prom tried to short change me, and despite the guys' protests, he knew exactly what he was doing.... Great for Families, couples and small groups.

Clean and tidy resort.

Not many hills it is all very flat, but the resort reminded me of Blackpool but in Majorca.

All the shops are shut at 10 and most bars shut at 12 midnight.

Lovely sandy beach where we enjoyed a few coctails in the many beach front bars (which are plentiful)but this is really a family and couples resort and is excellent for the older couple. Lovely sandy beach.

Can Picafort is a lovely resort that I will visit again, It is very much catered for Germans more than English, but still has a good sprinkling of English bars.
We especially liked Trotters on the beach (spanish run I think?) Wotsits behind the ClumbarMar seemed okay and the No 1 pub for sports and friendly staff.
The beach waas packed every day of our holiday, although we never actually went onto the beach, it looked lovely. There are 3 lifegaurds situated along the sands which I'm sure most people with children will find reassuring. The sea was a beautiful shade of blue and their is a flag warning system in place for safety.
I would definatley like to visit this resort again as it lovely, calm and peacful. Also several night clubs and lots of bars for those who like it a bit more lively.
weel worth visit.

Looks as though they are revamping the front a little. Some places were a bit tired looking and in need of improvement, particually the park area near to the hotel. This is a small resort with a few nice shops then the typical tourist shops. Not much to do here other than the beach, not for the 18-30's. However enough for a week.

Lovely new promenade to walk along, but with other similar areas, dog poo seems to be the norm. I watched dogs wandering around the resort, unaccompanied and doing no. 2's whenever and wherever.
