If you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway, Bonsai is definately for you, however if you are a young couple looking for a bit more entertainment or night life, as we were, I suggest you try another resort. Although there were a few little bars around, it is a very tranquil area. Its a very clean resort with plenty of souvenir shops and mini super markets at hand. I particularly enjoyed the market that came to town offering bargains and local specialties. The weather was fantastic and the beach was ideal. I would definately reccomend this resort to anybody who enjoys a quite break in a peaceful haven.

Very clean small pretty little fishing town. Lovely beach and nice harbour at the end. Nice relaxing atmosphere, no hustle or bustle.

Most parts of C'an Picafort very clean, but some areas let down by dogs fouling and broken paving ( in the residential areas that we had to walk through to get from the hotel)
did not see much entertainment - although there was evidence of loads, so cannot comment - dut to having a young family and venturing back to the hotel about 9 ish before the entertainment in most bars would start.
Beach - safe for children, sunbeds for hire only 2.5 euros for the day which was good. Some parts of the beach were let down - being littered with cans, bottles and cigarette ends - a great shame to be spoilt by the minority as usual.
Beach front is lined with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, which are lovely for evening meals.
Further into the resort there are further pedestrianised areas again with lots of amosphere and facilities.
I would visit the resort again, as good for families. Whilst travelling around the island, I preferred this resort to Alcudia and Calla De Mallorca. Cala D'or was beutiful as was Puerto pollensia, and Porto Christo

C'an Picafort is a fairly quiet resort although there are a couple of nightclubs, Skau and Charleys. The seafront is a great place to walk along at night, lots of bars and restaurants, nice cocktails.....the champagne sangria at Burger Beach is the best!! The Jamaica Bar is well worth a mention , and there is a variety of free entertainment in the bars. If you are feeling energetic a nice walk is along the prom to Son Baulo. You can get on the resort train and have a ride back. There is a good selection of shops, mainly touristy stuff tho.
The beaches are good, there is a pleasant breeze from the sea, plenty of sunbeds and parasols to hire.
A fairly low key resort but i love it.

not sure about can picafort.
it didn`t seem quite as homely as other majorcan resorts i`ve stayed at. difficult to put my finger on it but there was definately a bit of 80`s Blackpool about it.
the main road is only 200 yards from the beach and the traffic absolutely thundered up and down it day and night.
the side of town we were on had a pedestrian only road about 200 yards long that led down to the sea front. this was full of bars, restaraunts and shops. once you got to the sea front it was more of the same for a mile or so. again it was all a little bit compacted for my liking. very narrow path down the front that was absolutely chocker! plently of eating places to choose from, most that we tried were good although the old boat served up absolute rubbish and had the cheek to ask for payment up front. (i should have smelled a rat straight away) they weren`t too keen on a refund when we complained so we did the british thing. voted with our feet and told everyone we know it was rubbish.
we only ventured on the beach once and managed to pick some sunbeds that were right next to a used condom which was lovely. i heard that the beach is cleaned every morning. well the bit we were sat on wasn`t thats for sure!
i don`t want to sound over harsh because it takes time to get used to somewhere new and by the end of our holiday we had grown to like the place. somebody else described can picafort as being `something for everyone` which may be true but the reality of that is you have night clubs hanging over restaraunts and gangs of young people playing loud music next to quiet tranquil places. i don`t really think it works!
Would we go back? Probably, i didn`t dislike it in particular but neither were we swept away by it. we went to sa coma the previous year and loved it so much we went back in september. we don`t have the same urge to return to can picafort!

C'an Picafort.. wow!A must for all types of people. The resort itself was extremely clean, the only litter made by us brits! There are bars, clubs and discos for all ages. For the elder visitor, there are karaokes, bingo and quizs in many bars. For those not quite up for clubbing, there are live bands, restaurants providing entertainment whilst you eat and street performers. And then theres what we went for.. the nightclubs! Skau, Charly's, Papaya.. the clubs are out of this world. Tropical atmospheres, the latest music from all countries, rare cocktails, foam parties, we never wanted to leave! A must for clubbers of all ages!
The beaches at c'an picafort were kept beautifully, white sands and blue seas. It was like paradise. Sculptors would visit the beaches ever day and create the most amazing figures of mermaids, dragons and people out of sand. Our cameras never left our hands! Truly outstanding. We were so impresssed that we are considering moving to C'an Picafort... It's unforgettable.

The beaches are fab, the nightlife is outstanding..Lots of brilliant entertainment in bars:karaoke, bands, bingo etc. We recommend Papagayo which is a brilliant bar with very friendly staff! Skau the best nightclub i think we have ever been to! And Papaya with a chilled tropical atmosphere! All in all it caters for people of every age! We are definatly hoping to go back again sometime soon!

The location if the resort weas FAB. Beach was just a footstep away and very clean. Ensure you try the coconuts from the man on the beach there are great. All the streets were well lit on a night and the walk from bar to bar is great.... Cant wait to return next year...

The resort itself is perfectly located, within easy access to the main town if needed, about 4euros in a cab! There is a chemist about half a mile away on the front as you head towards Can Picafort if needed. Also convenience shops only meters away from the hotel. There are plenty of eating places and bars etc close by,Scandals/Manolo's Pub opposite Easy Riders is fantastic value and a good atmosphere!!!The beach was clean and unlittered and the sea great for kids bathing as its quite shallow for some way.Resort entertainment is great especially if you are overlooking Hotel Concord and they have one of there German outdoor acts on late!!Hilarious :oD(dont think its supposed to be!!!Deffo coming back!!!
