we found c,an picafort boring. whether it was because it was early in the season and not much was open, i dont know. there was no entertainment anywhere at night time apart from just sitting in another bar. the main street is not very well lit at all, beware of steps amd sudden drops in the pavement. there are busses into alcudia, which get very very packed, the drivers dont seem to know when to stop letting people on. thr beach is lovely in c,an picafort with lovely calm, flat seas, but unfortunately just not enough entertainment for us.

Great resort didn't see any rowdy teenagers but we did go in October. The beach is fantastic and every time we went there were lifeguards.

The buses are frequent and cheap so easy to go down to Alcudia for a run if you fancy but to be honest can picafort is a much nicer place.

Ca'n Picafort is a small resort with a few shops and and lots of restaurants. It does have many german visitors but that was not a problem to us. The beach could do with a good clean as it is not cleaned at all. Litter was much in evidence although the water was lovely and clean. There were no toilets at the beach which was unsual for Majorca.
Sunbeds are 5 euros for two beds and one umbrella.

the resort was quite clean but as we went in half term week and every thing was closing down there wasnt to much mess.
not much entertainment going on as most things had closed down.
the beach was of a good standard but because it was so cold and rained for most of the holiday no one was on the beach.
no i would not visit the resort again as there is not much to do and it is mostly catered for the german tourits

Location - was dreadful, nothing to do as everything began closing for the season.

Overall - Pleasurable holiday, apart from the weather, which was appauling for this time of year. As the hotel closes on the 30th of October it began to look like a ghost town and services were slowly withdrawn, which I felt poor, because guest pay for all of the facilities and therefore should have access to them.

Back to August holidays for us!!!!!

We had an end of season stay at the Son Baulo on the outskirts of Ca'n Picafort. I have given it a 3 only for cleanliness because of dog poo on the pavement (not very much, but enough to make you want to look where you are walking as well as gazing out to sea or wherever). As regards entertainment, we were not interested in that but apart from the hotels there did not appear to be much going on. The beach was beautiful, it was just too bad that we were at the end of the season and the sea was usually too rough to swim. Also there was a lot of black sea weed which looked as if it had been put through a shredder, which had been thrown up along the beach.

The area is good for walks. Heading off in the opposite direction to Ca'n Picafort, you could walk for miles over dunes and along undeveloped and wild looking beaches and rocks. Very beautiful, apart from a bit of pollution in the form of bits of plastic in the sand. There is also a nature reserve on the other side, going towards Alcudia.

We will definitely visit Majorca again, however not Ca'n Picafort simply because we like to go somewhere different each time. We would also not go at the end of the season as there is something sad about seeing the place gradually closing down for the winter.

lots of evening entertainment in this resort, music etc.the beach was ok,but sunloungers are getting expensive,eg we spent 75 euros in the week for 2 lots of loungers per day.we should have bought some parasols from the local shops which were about 10 euros each, but its nice to have a bit of comfort with a lounger I guess.the sea was extremely rough most days,so didnt stay in for long.the lifeguards were blowing their whistles manically, but it was difficult to know what they were trying to say one of them was quite rude to an elderly couple.lots of streetsellers trying to hawk sunglasses, they were getting to be a pest after a while.

C'an Picafort is a lovely relaxing resort, with an easy going, holiday atmosphere. One complaint (same as last year) the cigarette butts on the beach are just awful. They are everywhere and for children making sandcastles etc. it's disgusting.Don't know what they could do to sort this problem.Love the shops, love the restaurants and the staff everywhere love children and are so friendly.Trotters, Miami 2 and Blau Blue (for shopping) are worth a visit. For people with small children don't overpack with supplies you can buy all the British/Irish brands of baby food, nappies etc. There are also 2 really good pharmacies for emergencies. We found that prices had increased a bit this year as opposed to last year for food and drink, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly to any family with small children looking to visit a safe, happy holiday resort

i love caan picafor so im biased i found this year the cleanliness not as good as it has been but apart from that it is a decent 10/15 minute stroll from the hotel but the main street in the evening is lovly with a mix of shops stalls and bars and then a stroll on the promonade a must if you only go once which you wont! there is nice mix of bars that face the sea to watch the sunset with drink.
we dont like the noisy belt it out as loud as you can type entertainment so it works for us.
the beach is clean and golden sand the sea is great as you can go a fair distance before it even gets waist deep so very safe for the younger ones,we found if you go away from the town to the left it got quieter the further you ventured as most people stayed at the promonade end, and the beach gets wider the further you go,so not like sardines in a tin.
as before i would only go to caan picafor on my next visit to majorca its just doesnt have that package feel to it.
