Best rooms are on the 3rd floor of the hotel. From the middle to right the view is gorgeous. Buy/hire a fan as there's no air conditioning.

The resort was excellent with something to suit everyone, from family bars to nightclubs. The only down side is all the touts trying to pull you into their bars but once you tell them no they leave you alone. The beach is really nice with loads of watersports to keep you entertained if you get bored just lying on the beach.

Magalluf is Magalluf
Liners everywhere for pubs and clubs but they accept NO with the grace required.
If you can't find it in Magalluf you won't find it anywhere.

What can you say about Magalluf that hasn't already been said!! We have two children under five and we weren't hassled too much by PR's dragging us into bars (is it me or do they seem to have toned down? maybe it's my age!!!)
Antilles/Barbados is in a quiet area of the town right at the end of the beach but it's only about a 10 minute walk to the main centre, and about five mins to bars such as Piccadilly/Green Parrott/Benny Hills etc...
We didn't experience any noise from our hotel (except when Liverpool won the Champions League and then you could hear people cheering from our balcony!!)
A great resort that doesn't have to be just for 18 - 30's

There were plenty of bars and restaurants, some to mention were the Ness beach club on the beachfront. Try the Mexican nacho starter, also the Level One sports bar opposite the Tropico . Up some steps it does the best breakfast on the island if you visit you must check it out and a pint of San Miguel only 1.75 euros
The only thing spoiling Magaluf at night are the guys trying to get you into the bars. Beginning and end of season is great for families leave July and August for the stag and hens!!
The beach is long and clean sea is turquoise blue, beware of the sellers on the beach they rob you blind.

Although it is a lovely resort it is tailored more for groups of single people rather than couples or children.
It was the first time we had holidayed in Majorca and we thought the airport was a nightmare.

Magaluf was pleasantly surprisingly lovely. It was so clean, the people were fairly friendly, the beach was georgous and the sea was crystal clear.
You would never tell that the nights have been alive the night before.
The walk into the next resort Palma Nova was nice and didn't take long. The bus service is really good to get around places and is not to dear.
The scratchcard touts are there but understand the word "no".
There are plenty of shops which sell the same things and the bottled drinks (rum, vodka etc) and cigarettes are cheap. There are places to eat but did not use them.
A lot of younger people start visiting around the middle of May, so we were glad we went at the beginning.

Resort in May was lovely but.... would never visit in July/August due to 18-30's taking over.........
I would recommend "Lady Tavern" to eat in also "Europe"

Magaluf is mainly a resort for the 18-30s but when we visited in May it was a lot quieter than in the height of summer.
What we liked about Magaluf was if you did not find anything there you liked you can walk 15 minutes to Palma Nova which has a beautiful beach & has a lot of good restaurants.
Would definitley return again in May or September.

Was at first put off Magalluf by the reputation it has. Where we stayed (tropico) is far enough away to not be troubled.
Only been early June or Late September dont know what it is like in peak season.
For food in the resort wouldnt touch tom browns. Cheapily made expensively sold rubbish. Stick with the Cottage or happy house or Lisas for sandwiches at Lunchtime (management changed for worse, cook still same though).
Beach great, dont buy cans of pop from beach sellers though, seen people charged 5 euros for can of coke.
Timeshare touts stand on corners, so no you havent won a surprise holiday no matter how excited they seem.
