Best rooms are on the 3rd floor of the hotel. From the middle to right the view is gorgeous. Buy/hire a fan as there's no air conditioning.

the main disapointment was MAGALUF. Every bar you passed, there would be an advertiser dragging you in and bribing you with free shots. Also, The crowds wold intimidate you (and I myself am a 24 year old woman, so how about that!) by staring you up. It is okay if you go as far as Benny hills (which is about a kilometer, i think(!) but being with a family, me myself , I wouldnt go any further.
Saying that, If i were single I would definately go there!

resort cleanliness puts us british to shame every day they were cleaning the streets with brooms and washing down pavements bin men around everyday as well. excellent entertainment for all ages. younger ones 18-30 best bet goto magaluf just up the road families stay in palma nova. the beach was excellent with sun beds and shades. i would recommend this resort to families

I found the shops bars beach etc really good clean and reasonably cheap.
Do not buy anything from the beach vendors unless you want to pay 4 pounds for a can of drink
This resort is more for the young or young at heart
my 2 friends and i had a good time and would go back again but maybe in a differnt hotel
I hope this helps
Happy holidays.

the resort was very lively as you would expect and in august it is more geared up to 18-30 year olds. The place did have entertainment for younger children and I think in early season this would be very good for families. The beach was very clean and was swept frequently nice and clear. The resort itself was cleaned but evidence of drinking etc was visible for all to see.

we did not visit the beach as there was lots of complaints aboout people being stung by jellyfish. the resort was clean during the day and night.
food was great in tom browns near mcdonalds and also lady tavern. resort was very lively but suprisingly not noisy near this hotel even thought opposite the sahara and jungla.
resort good for young kids aswell and would recommend going to benny hills on the corner.
we would go back next year.

I was very surprised by Magaluf, it has changed dramatically since my last visit. It has improved so much that you wouldn't really recognise it from the 'Old' Magaluf. We found it to be pretty clean, with reasonable entertainment, apart from the obligatory 'Only Fools and Horses' being shown in every bar - surely there must be something else that us Brits are known for! The beach was excellent and the water clean. I don't think we would go back to Magaluf, but I would go to Palma Nova, it appears to be far cleaner and the restaurants are far better, both in terms of cleanliness and the food available on the menu, Magaluf restaurants are a bit 'cafe' style, but as a resort Magaluf is what it is - 'cheap 'n' cheerful'.
Hope you enjoy your stay!!

Palma Nova and Maguluf were gorgeous resorts, the beaches were beautiful and clean with plenty of lounges. There were plenty of Bars / restaurants to suit every type all of a very high standard, the Robinson Crusoe Bar along magaluf beach was a favourite of ours! Very friendly staff and great menu, food was served promptly and at good value.
As for the nightlife I was shocked to find that the strip does not get going until 1am. It was very strange getting used to that as back home I'm normally finishing then! But once out it was well worth it! I would definately go back.

The resort itself is clean without being spotless, although its hard to keep everything clean with thousands of holidaymakers roaming around everyday.
Resort entertainment is fine, pleny of karoke pubs and plenty of little pubs with pool tables etc if you want a quiet sit with the family.
Beach was fine on our one and only visit nice sand not too many pebbles/stones only drawback was being disturbed on my sun lounger by a spanish guy wanting his money for the pleasure of lying on his plastic bed, 2.50 euro a bed but thats for the day.
I would visit Magaluf again its a nice resort which has a unwanted and unfair reputation with lots of people who have probably never been there....
Best pub visited...The Local Place about 5 mins walk from the barracuda, nice atmosphere, well priced drinks, not too busy and a great dj playing good tunes from the last 20 years not just the usual rap, clap and crap that some pubs play..
