After reading the reviews on the net we were very worried about this hotel, but I can honestly say this hotel was far from bad.

The food for all inclusive was great, lots of choice. Drinks were good.

Location was great, only 5 mins from beach and shops. The only downfall is the pool area not being very big and you had to be up early to get the beds but the beach isn't far so this isnt really an issue. And if you ask the night before the hotel will make you a packed lunch to take out with you.

The entertainment was good too although it seemed to start late at 9.30, but all in all we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We will definitley be returning back here.

The hotel was very good, from check in to room cleanliness, to the quality of the food.

The pool is perhaps a bit small but a clean beach is only 5 minutes away

After reading the reports I was a bit worried & can agree with most things said having only just come back from which was a adverage holiday at this hotel.

First impressions were good from the outside, reception staff were rude & unfriendly we had booked 2 rooms but only 1 was ready the other one was ready 1& a half hours later & this was the case for many other people.

The first room was small & basic but was clean it had a safe & fridge which only worked when the key fob was in so you couldnt keep anything cold we resorted to putting a card of our own in to keep it cold such as a tesco card.

The second room was bigger as it was for 3 people but had no door on the safe it had a broken bed & mould growing round the patio doors, the bathrooms were small with no windows or ventilation although they were kept clean & the towels were changed every day.

Each room had a tv but only 2 English channels & I was sick of watching sky news by the end of the holiday. The food was probably the best part of this hotel as it was of a good standard & was changed quite often, the dinning area did get very cramped though & you had to get your drinks from the bar down stairs for lunch & dinner as the restuarant only had wine & water which were discusting.

If you went towards the end of the dinning hours there wasnt much choice & you found yourself keep asking the staff to replenish the food which they got stroppy about.

The pool was tiny & freezing there were plenty of sun beds but you had to get out there early to get the best sunny spots.

The entertainment was awfull bingo most nites followed by typical Spanish singing & quizes. We made our own entertainment in our rooms playing cards as there wasnt much else to do & everyone else seemed to have the same idea.

We ventured out twice on the evenings as a change as scenery but that was as bad we had 2 bad meals one of which was

Stayed for 4 days over easter break having booked independant.

Rooms were basic and bathrooms tired.

Food of good choice for all inclusive.

Entertainment room very poorly set out and entertainment of low standard having done thomson gold for last 4 years we noticed for an adults only you could not compare any standards.

All in all we only booked for 4 days so this was adequate but would not like to think this was my main holiday weeks.

This hotel should never be rated as a 4 star, I could not believe there were no leisure facilities or an indoor pool.

The rooms were so basic and very small with an even smaller balcony. It is the only 4 star I have stayed in that does not supply toiletries.

The restaurant staff were very polite and helpful, the food was excellent lots of choice, the all inclusive drink was good too!!

The rep based at the hotel, with Airtours has to be the rudest rep I have ever spoken to, someone was shouting at her one evening and she was upset but it has to make you wonder why!!

It is a very clean hotel but the worst ever 'passage' like design, it has to be 30 times longer that it is wide, the whole of the downstairs bar and entertainment area is like a corridor.

The location is not the best, there are no shops or bars around the hotel, it is only approx 5 mins walk cutting down some side streets to the beach though.

Entertainment was medioca, geared up for Spanish, but given we went in March this year you would expect this,we then had the obligatory bingo called in Spanish and English. We did see one very good act one night but went out most nights anyway.

I would not visit this hotel again, not sure how on earth they came to name it 'palace' ha ha.

It is a shame I did not look at earlier posts as the standard of this hotel is rubbish.

No smoking in biggest part of hotel. Food not very hot and reapeted 4 times over my 2 weeks twice a week.

Staff not great, outside bar closed, only staff who got a tip was room service.

I go a lot to the riu group 3 star and they make this a 2 star.

What a let down!!! Staff and food was excellent, but what let this hotel down big time was the only one small bar area, the entertainment which was awful. Also the fact the lounge area, was like a corridor, and you couldn't get a seat unless you went early evening. Drunken yobs on a stag weekend, taking up all the bar area, and one night not a seat to be had. Had to resort to taking our drinks to our room, with only English news programs on the TV, unless you are Spanish of course.

4 star I don't think so, maybe 2. What I can't understand. if there was a decent act you could only see head and shoulders because of the height of the stage.

Me and my wife had a great time.
Food high standard,very clean,bar staff friendly.
Keith was the entertainer at the time as his partner was on holiday,he worked flat out to make our stay as good as possible and as far as iam conserned ha did a great job.
We would love to go back this summer with friends.

Can't belive the bad reviews, only stayed on a 4 night beak but thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Good food any plenty of drink.

Being a smoker I had no problem going into the back room for a smoke. Although the bar closed at midnight if you were clever enough you could get a table full of drinks to keep you going. Played cards and drinking until 3 am with no bother from the staff.

Pool a little small but too cold to use anyway in December. The only thing I can complain on is the air conditioning blowing out hot air, could not get it to go cold.

I am going back in March this year, lets hope I am not disappointed.
