Make sure you stay in Sol Mirlos NOT Sol TORDOS. There’s two hotels and this is the most modem and has better larger rooms. Tell reception when you arrive.

Palma Nova has changed alot in the last 10 years or so. the promenade is really lovely. has a great atmosphere through the evening.
Lots of bars and cafes etc etc. the beach is first class too. All in all a very clean , well run resort.

Split between the two beaches. Magaluf beach had lots of steps to go down, whilst Palma Nova had a far better beach.
Lots of great English bars, safe for the kids. Magaluf for all the bars, bar after bar after bar, just watch out for the sick & blood stains on the footpaths if you venture out there.
We had no bother whatsoever in both resorts, but that was in May.
Would'nt go there with kids in the high season unless your family are party animals, we loved Palma Nova and would go there tomorrow if finances allowed!

Palma nova was excellent, very clean, and plenty of things to do, but Magaluf was the place to be on a night time.
It was great for the day time, lots of things to fill the days including crazy golf, souvenir shops (about 85!!)only about 3 euros in a taxi to magaluf.

We weren't there for long, but I did like the resort.
There were plenty of shops, bars, cafe's etc to keep you occupied, and you are right next to Magalluf, which will keep the clubbers happy.
The beaches looked very nice. Very clean, sandy, and the water looked pretty shallow.
Obviously, the area fills up greatly later on, but for April it was still reasonably busy, although many hotels were still closed.
If you are self-catering, there are a number of supermarkets, which didn't seem too expensive overall.

First time in Palma Nova and thought it was lovely. We were right next to Magaluf and that is definately more for youngsters but loved Palma Nova.
One thing to watch out for is people offering you a piece of melon-they give you a small bit to try and then cut you a piece and charge you 5 euros for a tiny piece and you have to take it or they get really angry, also beware of time share touts- they give you a scratch card and tell you you have won a fantastic prize and all you have to do is go to a hotel to claim it-don't be fooled the police booked the one trying to con us so we had a lucky escape.
But don't be put off palma Nova because our friends were in Gran Canaria and the same things happened to them.

Palma nova is an excellent resort with many different choices.. eating out, bars, and shops however for us it was the beaches and walks( away from Magaluf) that made our holiday.
Very clean and at this time of the year quiet and free from hassle!.

We stayed in the resort of Palma Nova but to be honest it was across the road from Magaluf, great for young people!
Loads of places to eat and drink, cheaply or that little bit more expensive. the beach is gorgeous, couldn't beleive how blue the sea was!

We wanted a beach holiday and thats what we had, a lovely beach, plenty of room, very relaxing.
Didn't venture out much at night but the area seemed very lively, and wasn't too noisy.
Its a resort I would be quite happy to revisit.
