We spent a week in the Lagotel this year, it was our first tme in Alcudia so we did not know what to expect. We arrived in the middle of the night and first impression were great!
The food at the hotel is lovely, there was something different everyday, so there was something to suit everyone! There are six pools so we tried out every one, we decided we prefered the one across from the hotel because it is more relaxed but if you want to play volleyball in the pool stay at the ones by the hotel.
Entertainment was brilliant, mini-disco was great, whatever your age you go home singing the songs! Fabion and his team were excellent, making us all laugh every night. I played bingo every night but unfortunatley I never won! There was a diffrent show everynight, which is good.
Staff are all really friendly and they make you feel very welcome. You can get a bus to the beach but we never did because it was only a 5 minute walk and if you wanted to go to the supermercado it was on the way.
We visited Alcudia town by taxi which we booked through the hotel, it was fairly cheap for a 10 minute ride. The town is lovely with some great, cheap shops! We didn't get a taxi back because we found out you could walk along the beach back to the hotel, it is a pleasant walk, and took us about 3/4 of an hour but you don't notice the time, when your looking at the beautiful scenery.
The rooms were spacious clean and air conditioned which was brilliant but I found it quite cool at night. I would definatley go back to this hotel and I recommened it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, fun time.

We thought the hotel was brilliant!!!!!
Met really nice friends called Patrice and Estelle Mc Garvey they were really nice, we are visiting them in the summer!!!!!!
The hotel rooms were very clean and tidy (until we arrived)
The food was very nice a big selection and there was something for all of us that we liked as we had so many of us.
There was a lot of mossies and my daughter's had to look after there little babies at all times because they were very dangerous.
There was alot of entertainment for the litle ones and we really enjoyed it!!!!!
We are 100% going back next year!

The Lagotel was a little bit out from the shops and resturant but was a nice wald. The new pool across the road from the main complex was great, comfy sunbeds and loads of space! My kids didnt go to much of the clubs as they were too young for one and too old for the other. Being honest, the wavelenth reps didnt seem to care too much!! The complex and our apartment was spotless.

It was our first holiday on our own, for me and my little boy. Had a fab time. Kids club,mini disco and shows fab. Just what you want when you have to deal with a 5 yr old. Loved the pool across the road. Not hard on the feet at all, just hot!!!Food good, only complaint about that is that they start clearing away at 8.00pm when dinner doesnt finish till 8.30.
Kids club were great, happy waiters serving drinks.
I think that the only thing I could say to improve is that there needs to b a welcome package for late arrivals and also someone to show people to their rooms.Quite disorientating at 4.00am.
We both had a fab time. we both want to go again, but if you cld get the middle aged receptionist to stop hitting on single mothers and short changeing them when they are on self catering and buying a dinner ticket it would be a bonus. kir & bill

The hotel was always kept clean and was always fresh and welcoming. The food was exceptionally good all of the time with a wide variety every day. The main courses were great and the deserts were excellent.
The hotel was in a great position...only 10 minute walk to the beach with a great variety of shops along the way and on the front. It was away from any loud noise from the town so everone could get to sleep.
The first choice reps were brilliant and exellent with the kids, joe the older wavelength rep was suberb and was loved by every-one. There were many actvities fro all ages and a cresh for the youngesters, taz and bugs bunny clubs for up to ages 11 and thw wavelength club for 11-15. Overall the best staff i hve experianced.

recently come back from visiting the lagotel, i was very dissapointed as the hotel is close to a swamp and not a lake as advertised in brochure. and also a chemical factory at the rear of the hotel (lovely views not!!!) the area surrounding lagotel turns into a sleepy town after midnight and this is not what we wanted for our teenage children. i think at sometime this has been a lovely area but at the moment it could do with a lot of tlc.
lots of flies mosquitos and wasps.and i mean lots.
best part about the hotel was the free laundry service. (well done lagotel)

I have just returned from Lagotel this week after a most enjoyable 2 week holiday. The hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The tour reps were most helpful, very friendly and great with the kids. There is plenty to do for all ages, the Kids especially enjoyed many days in the 'Kids Club'. The food was excellent. Not one night did the hotel offer the same choice of food whilst we were there and the quality was 'second to none'. There are 2 swimming pool area's, we spent our whole holiday in the new swimming pool over the road so can't really comment on the bigger pool. Sun beds are not an issue to get and you can pretty much sit where you like around the pool. One slight moan is that the surface area around the pool was terrible on the feet, it needs smoothing out some what although this may be to stop people running?? It is a bit of a pain though. The hotel is kept very clean at all times and the waiters are all very friendly. The entertainment, if I am honest, did get a little tedious. 8pm Mini Disco. 9pm Bingo (Could make it every other night) and from 10pm the Entertainment which out of 14 performances, I would say I enjoyed 8/9. Location is a little out in the sticks but there is a courtesy bus to the beach (5 mins). All in all a fantastic time and I would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to anyone. One more point, can someone please sort the lifts out, they were diabolical!!! Thanks to all.

The facilities for children at this hotel are very good and the childrens entertainers are excellent. Not great at catering for mums or dads even at 11 o'clock at night (more mini disco!).Generally the entertainment was good with a couple of the shows being excellant (four tops and hypnotist)Stars in their eyes kids and karowouke(more kids) absolutely awful.
They need to extend the hours in the restuarant (or add one) as was heaving in morning and evening- quite difficult to find a table. Food on the whole was very good although not a lot of choice for the children.
We arrived at four in the morning and unfortunately left my daughters small case on the coach-told rep but wasn't really interested so never saw it again.
Lots of biting insects due to lake next door-so take plenty of repellant and Hc45 cream (which works well).Also foul smells on occasions (depending on the wind)from the lake-quite revolting!!
Hotel staff very good and prices on site reasonable.
I would not be coming back here as it felt too much like a holiday camp but with the kids very much in charge.
They need to extend the hours in the restuarant (or add one) as was heaving in morning and evening- quite difficult to find a table. Food on the whole was very good although not a lot of choice for the children.

This was our first family holiday and were very worried about our apartments, wheaher they would be good etc. We needed have bothered, Lagotel was excellent!!
The staff worked really hard to keep the kids entertained, and the waiting on team never seemed to go home!
The rooms were very clean and the maids never seemed to be away. We reported a bulb gone in the bathroom and someone was there before I got back to the room!!
This is a great place for families, although we were self catering, we often ate in the restaurant as the food was to a very high standard.
We would definitely go back! Well done Lagotel!!
