Maid service is regular - most but not all days, towels provided and replaced in generous quantities!
Would recommend at anyone to take half board. The quality of the food is second to none as far as hotels are concerned, and will suit the fussiest eater - ranges from chips to vast range of fresh fish, meats and vegetbles, with propper puddings, and whats more you can be as greedy as you like!
Although buffet style, the dinning room has the first sign of a quality restaurant - real linnen table cloths and napkins!
All hotel staff are pleasant and helpfull, all entertainment is by Thomson reps. This is fine, but a bit noisy sometimes, as it dominates the pool area for much of the day.
Pool area is adequate - clean and attractive. Many guests were allowed to 'bag' sunbeds despite Thompsons promises to stop this.
This is an excellent hotel overall, for a relaxing holiday - with easy access to shops. If kids are happy - then I am.

Our daughter spent most of the time in the pool or at the childrens clubs. Of the latter we found them to be excellent, very friendly and actually took an interest in the children.
Rooms
They are spacious and clean with everything you would require for cooking etc. Not that we did much of this.
Pool Area
Again very clean and tidy. Regarding sunbeds, well we didn't find this a problem at all. We would amble down to the pool at anytime around 0830 - 0900 and there were always plenty available, even up to 10am. One two occasions during our 14 days did the reps take towels off the beds and put them on the stage and everyone soon got the message and the reserving of beds stopped straight away.
Entertainment
The team were excellent, encouraging you to get involvled but if you didn't feel like it then they would leave you alone. The shows were good as well.

We didn't encounter any probles with the sunbed issue that other holiday-makers had reported on here. They did get snapped up quickly, but apart from people going into the pool and leaving their belongings on the sunbeds I never saw any evidence of "claiming" them early. We did see however, the pool maintenance staff taking away any inflatables, towels etc that were left at the pool in the early evening.
The apartment was basic but very clean with everything you needed; towels, linen, kitchen equipment etc. However, beware if you are over 5'10 or you will have a bruised forehead from the kitchen light!
We found the hotel staff very helpful, the staff in the Pizzeria/Bar were friendly and efficient and the Thomson Reps were great.A "big" thankyou to Princess Ryan, Super Sarah and Kool Katie and the rest of the reps (too many to mention) for all ther efforts they put in to make everyone enjoy their stay.
We were Self Catering but we did use the hotel restaurant once on the gala night, which was excellent; great choice and well presented but I thought a little overpriced compared with eating out.The pizzaria has a good range on its menu and is fairly priced.
Entertainment was from "outside" 3 times a week with the reps doing various other shows in between. Kids were catered for with a disco and games every night and fun and games during the day even for those not enrolled in the "kids clubs".
We went on an excursion from the hotel to Marineland and had a thoroughly enjoyable day even though the heat was stiffling.
All in all a good holiday. Well done Coma Gran.

The accomodation was totally spotless (and I'm very fussy!) and the staff at reception were extremely helpful and welcoming. The apartment was very spacious and the maid visited six times in our week's stay.
I had read on this website about the food being very good and we opted for the half board option on arrival. I am so glad we did because it was excellent value and the choice was fantastic. My children are not particularly fussy eaters and this gave them the opportunity to try out lots of the dishes we might not have ordered had we been ordering at a restaurant (Hake, pork loin, beef strogonoff, paella, cod au gratin etc) . If you simply wanted pizza/chicken nuggets and chips - no problem. The entertainment, both day and night was also excellent. The childrens clubs were very well run and despite temperatures of 46 degrees - the children were very well catered for and entertained. Excellent holiday and I would certainly recomend it particularly to those with young children. Sa Coma is a lovely resort for families.

We payed for half board for the first week and the food was fantastic with an enormous choice of dishes. The second week we ate out every night and again found the food to be lovely in all of the restarants and cheaper than last year. All 5 of us were eating for
