We stayed in a royal room, it was fantastic.

The staff were very helpful and friendly the entertainment was first class. There was plenty to do on site tennis, volley ball, and rounders. We had no choice but to join in with everything and I mean everything.

The food on site was very good as well . Use to enjoy a meal at the Sportsmans which is just five minutes down the road. If your into karaeoke then the Kings Head is for you. Great night out going to the Bougie this July. This will be our eighth visit and is worth every penny.

Awful holiday. Mind you dont have too much to drink, you might not find your apartment...!
It is an ants nest, after a few days you get your bearings and work out the short cuts. No real balcony and no privacy.
Butlins in the sun is correct, never again.

The only way I can describe this hotel is "Butlins abroad". Great pools though.

THIS WITHOUT DOUBT IS THE BEST PLACE EVR TO GO ON HOLIDAY!

MASSIVE POOL, NICE ROOMS AND DURING THE DAY ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO COUNT THE NUMBER OF CLEANERS WANDERING AROUND, I FOUND SO MUCH TO DO ON THE COMPLEX, I DIDN'T GO TO THE BEACH ONCE!

ONLY A KILOMETRE DOWN THE ROAD IS THE CENTRE. JUST DOWN THE ROAD IS THE SPORTSMAN, A FRIENDLY BRITISH PUB, AND OPPOSITE IS THE HYPER MARKET. YOU CANNOT GO TO THIS PLACE AND COME AWAY DISSAPIONTED, UNLESS YOU ARE THE MOST PESSEMISTIC PERSON ON EARTH. THERES OSCARS NIGHTCLUB, LA TASCA RESTURANT, THE MOST EXTRAVAGANT ENTERTAINMENT AREA, THE BIG TOP. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT EVEN DOWN TO THE FRIENDLY BUT HARD TO UNDERSTAND SPANISH DOCTOR. AT 15, THERE WERE LOADS OF FIT BIRDS TO LOOK AT, ITS THE EASIEST PLACE TO PULL EVER, THE FOOD'S NICE AND THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS BETTER WHEN THE SUNCENTER TEAM DID IT. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK UP, YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED!

We were due to go to tenerife and read (here and elsewhere) how dreadful our hotel was and changed to the bougy majorca last minute due to the great comments it got. This is one hotel i would definately go back to. By day 8 my hubby and i had a competition to see who would be the first person to spot something to complain about - it was a tough competition. In the end the maid left us 4 new towels instead of the usual 5 and that was the only thing we could say - big wow. Perfect for families, prob aimed more toward pre-teens and below (but hey, who can please a teenager?!!)

reps are NUTTERS. full activity program. big top is great, pool fab. GO THERE !!! (holidaysuncovered has loads of comments re the bougy...)

The hotel was FANTASTIC.

The room was better than we expected, the maids were very friendly and always happy to talk to the children. The food was great. I'm sure I put on a few pounds while I was there.

The entertainment staff were very entertaining and funny, one girl lived in the same town as us..SPOOKIE...

My children don't stop talking about this holiday and want to go back every year. We went on a cruise this year and they said they would prefer to go back to the BOUGILVILLA in Majorca.

Have been there 3 times in 18 months, no previous experience with majorca, personally I thought it was a great place especially for those with children. The entertainment is more geared for kids but at least its quiet after 11.30pm no noisy disco or rowdy gangs. The apartments are clean and basic- no tv unless you hire one, for 4 people I would recommend a 2 bedroom apartment. The 1 bedroom can be a bit of a squosh for 3 or 4 people. Great pools on site, It is a bit of a walk to the shops and seafront, there is a regular free road train though. There are 2 or 3 shops on site, but nearer to the town is a good hypermarket, as well as loads of smaller supermarkets. Personally I hired a car just to drive up to the town and seafront, also Cala Millor (next town ) has a good choice of shopping. There is a lovely beach at Sa Coma with a small selection of Cafes and Burger King. If your looking for hectic nightlife I did nt see much evidence of it ! Back to Bouganvilla,we found the staff quite helpful, theres a reasonable restaurant there which does takeaway (Toscars) if you dont wish to cook in your room which is quite handy.
We just got back after our third stay the main problem we had was the tiring journey caused by late flights additionally delayed, and on the day we departed we had to vacate the apartment by midday although our flight was 12 hours later, you can usually pay extra to stay in your room, but on this occasion we had to move to the other side of the complex into a small studio which was a bit of a bind. I would however go there again, that in my case speaks for itself.

These appartments are a good 90 mins drive from Palma airport which in reality adds 2 hours to you flight arrival time allowing for baggage collection and finding your Airtours coach at the airport.
You can see the appartments from the coach long before arrival as they are painted in the most garish colours of lavender, cerise and cream. It is a huge sprawling complex that I can only liken to Pontins "in the sun". Some of the accomodation is set out around a large pool but the majority is set behind in the style of narrow Spanish streets which means that some of these rooms never see the sun and our first room was dark, dingy and damp. We were finally moved to a brighter higher room after an infestation of ants in our ground floor appartment. We were told by reception that ants are a problem here.
We stayed half board and the food was mediocre and not child friendly. My 8 year old only would only eat the chips for 2 weeks and my 11 year old struggled most days.
The restaurant was not big enough for the complex and at peak times people were queing to get in. It was also very dingy and cramped.
The main pool was extremely deep in most areas and whilst appeared clean during the day, you could see all sorts of rubish that has collected on the bottom when it was lit up at night. During our 2 week stay I did not see it ever being cleaned out. There were 2 other pools which were smaller and possibly cleaner.
There was free transport during the day to the beach which was very clean & picturesque and there were a reasonable number of shops and bars. However the complex is set at the back of the resort and if you wanted to go into the resort at night it was a good 20 minute walk. The complex did have a good pizza restaurant on site aswell as a minimarket which was reasonably priced.
The resort of Sa Coma adjoins other nearby resorts which on visitng appear to be inhabited by many German tourists who seem to be preferentially catered for. It is also a long way away from any of the interesting sites or trips offered by the travel company which appear to be Palma based ( 90 mins away).
The Airtours entertainment team put on some excellent evening shows which were probably too good for this complex. The reception staff were also very efficient. However, would I come here again? Not in a million years!!

The hotel apartments were great we stayed in a royal apartment! Every morning you would see the army of cleaners with there trollies to clean your room, the hotel food was great ecspecially the cheese and tomato margeriters. The location was really good as the beach and shops was only a 10-15 minute walk. Or you could just jump on the bouganvilla train which takes you straight down to the beach. The staff were always friendly if you ever needed anything they would always be willing to help you! The entertainment was alright for kids, but they could off put more shows on for the adults , but there is alot off nightlife just down the road The Kings Head was a really good choice to out and Sportsmens is a british bar were you could have an english meal just like home!!

Generally a good resort. Big pool very clean, average entertainment though was geared very much to the children. Drinks at the bars reasonably priced, but much cheaper to buy your own at the hypermarket on the main road or from the little site shop. Hypermarket is situated 15-20 mins walk through a residential area and the beach is a further 5-10 mins walk from there. Be warned the pavements are very slippery especially when they are dry and sprinklers are in every front garden on the walk down. There is a small land train which drops and picks up from the beach throughout the day.
Inca market is a must if you like to haggle.
NO NIGHTLIFE, only reasonable pub in the area is the Kings Head by the beach. Oscars nightclub on site is a waste of time. Studio apartmants are tiny and sleep 2 comfortably on settee style beds. Was unbearable for us four adults. The all you can eat breakfast is not really worth the money, go to the Grape Vine on the main street.
