We had no problems whatsoever with the hotel or with the fact that we were there at the busiest time of the year.
Everywhere was tidy and litter free - the army of cleaners you see in the morning with their trollies is pretty amazing to watch when they set off on their rounds!!!
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was fine - not fantastically well equipped but well enough to enable us to make up the odd meal when we felt like it (twice in a week!!). I had contacted the hotel by e-mail prior to going to ask for a ground floor room and sure enough that is what we were given.
The hotel staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite. The Airtours staff were similarly good - they seemed to have built up excellent relationships with all of the children there - not something that everyone can do.
The entertainment in the evenings was okay - if we had wanted to watch well produced, amazing shows then we would have gone to Las Vegas. The children all loved the Kids' Disco each night and most of the adult entertainment was good - those bits that weren't so good were still funny!!!
Drink prices didn't seem to bad to us. 8.80 Euros for a vodka and coke, and gin and tonic. 6.6 Euros for a bottle of wine in the big top. A bit more than at home for the spirits, but much bigger measures!!
Downsides - only two really. There is no air conditioning in the apartments. We knew this before going so put one of our cylindrical fans in our suitcase and that kept the apartment nice and cool - you can also rent fans while there; I don't know how good/effective they are.
The other 'downside' although it didn't affect us was the reservation of sunbeds - it seemed that some people could only live their life if they could lay on the same sunbed for 7 or 14 days. People were reserving any empty sunbeds from 4 or 5 each afternoon. On nights when we stayed up late we watched lots of beds being reserved from 2am onwards!!! By the time we wanted a sunbed after playing in the pool etc (from 3pm onwards) there were plenty of beds available.
We have been away lots of times with our son - mainly to villas and private apartments. This was his first time to a 'proper' summer holiday hotel. He thoroughly enjoyed himself - and when your kids are happy it makes for a much better holiday for everyone!!!!
Enjoy!!!!

Found the hotel/appts very clean and airtours staff were always on hand should you need them.
The location is a good 15-20 mins walk from shops, bars and more restaurants which I would recommend you walking to as they are cheaper then eating in the hotel.
The entertainment at night for the children was not bad, but for the adults it could have been a lot better, the shows I am affraid that the Reps put together was quite poor but you had a laugh watching them.

We ended up getting up at 6.30-6.45am to get a sun bed and having to stay there as if you left your bed your towels would be thrown on the floor and someone would have removed your bed!!!!
This problem really needs to be sorted out

This time we took the 2 youngest with us. We didn't see them all day as they were off doing the activities. The reps kept you entertained all day and night up until midnight especially Jo when she called the bingo and kelly doing cartoon heroes.
The hotel was kept very clean. The maid service was excellent. The pools and surrounding areas were spotless we always saw someone sweeping up.
The reception was very organised we landed at Palma airport at 12.30 in the afternoon and we were in our rooms by 14.00pm.

The Big Top was a joke, bouncy castles galore for kids, at 2.50 euros for 8 minutes-this should be included and the drinks were a shocking price.
And someone really should tell airtours staff that they CANNOT SING and we had to endure them rehearsing all day and then again try to perform in the evening, we travelled out to the "Sportman Bar" for dinner owned by an English Family from St Helen's food was excellent not overpriced and family were lovely.
Would never recommend this complex to anyone. The entertainment is awful so are the staff and reps and rooms, the only good thing about this compex were their cleaners who probably get the least praise and deserve the most.

Even though the studio was very clean as a single parent did not think it was appropriate to be put up 3 flights of stairs - as it was a nightmare to get the suitcases up to the top. However, the maids gave an excellent service and the room was very clean and enough space for me and my son.
The pool area and daytime entertainment was excellent and we enjoyed every moment of it. I hardley saw my son as he loved the pool and entertainment so much. Unfortunately, many of the residents tended to put their towels out at stupid times like 5 in the morning, so I had the attitude if I can't beat them join them!
We went self catering and did eat out a lot but La Tasca which is a restaurant within the hotel was excellent for food and very reasonably priced.
The entertainment was not very good in the evening for the adults but great entertainment for the kids but watch out for the prices of drinks at the big tent - 6 euros for 2 cokes. So would recommend you just sit outside the big tent and take your own drinks!
Overall the holiday was excellent and spot on for families and single parents, in fact it was so good I have cancelled my holiday booked for next year in Ibiza and am returning to the Boogie.
