Location
The complex is situated too far from the main area of Sa Coma. Travel agent said " 5 min walk " but with or without a five year old it is far from that.
We hired a car via reception which made the holiday for us,as getting a sunbed proved impossible unless you want to get up at 6.00am.
On one particular occasion when we were lucky enough to cobble a couple of sunbeds together there were 3 beds with towels on next to us that were not occupied until 3.30pm and then by a guy on his own !! it is totally crazy.
The kids loved the kids clubs and the entertainment which lets face it was geared towards 5 year olds.
The food at the restaurant on site was okay.
I would not go back to this complex.

Anyway Direct Holidays Rep Maya came & moved us. She was fantastic.
The Bouganvilla is nice, great pools for the kids & they loved it. We also had a baby so the 2 baby pools were also great.
The rooms are nice & include a microwave & for those of you with a baby will know how good that is. Not many self catering apartments have microwaves so that was a huge plus for me. The rooms do not have air con though & thankfully we didn't need it in September but in the height of summer the heat in the rooms would be unbearable I think. Maids came in every 2 days & gave us fresh towels & made the bed. They didn't clean really. It would have been nice if they had swept & mopped the floors but it wasn't the end of the world as there was a brush in the cupboard & I did it myself. Overall nice enough rooms.
There is only one place to eat on the hotel complex. La Tasca & it was ok. For such a large complex I would have thought there would be more places to eat. Better to head into Sa Coma for food. The entertainment wasn't for us so I can't really comment. There is a big top which opens at night. They have kids disco followed by bingo & then at 10pm adult entertainment. One night they had a Grease night so our kids enjoyed that but that was the only time we went there. It remined me of butlins entertainment but in the sun!!!
Sa Coma it's self is a lovely place. Not huge but for families it is great. The Kings Head pub & The Brittania pub are lovely to the kids & have a different act on every night. Food in Brittania was better than the Kings Head even though they seem to be owned by the same person. The Bouganvilla is about a 10 min walk to Sa Coma but during the day they run a bus for free to town & back every half hour, brilliant service to have. It was only 4 Euros to Sa Coma in a taxi anyway for those who don't want to walk. I liked the fact that the hotel is not in the centre of Sa Coma. Sometimes it's nice to be away from the hussle & bussle!! The beach in Sa Coma is beautiful & very clean.
I am one of these people that never goes somewhere twice but if I did I would go back to Sa Coma & the Bouganvilla.

Its is a great complex especially for those travelling with families, the entertainment would suit them down to the ground, the swimming pool was massive.
For those that have booked to go here in the next few weeks before the season ends. You will have a great time. Remember your holiday is as good as you make it !!!

We stayed in this complex in September from 19th and the rooms were really hot, we were also right on the main road so we had our windows shut all night as the noise was bad.
The beds are terribly uncomfy and bedding needs updating as most of the time the sheets had marks on them.. as did the bathroom towels.
I wouldn't rate the cleanliness of the rooms either as we rarely had clean floors and also we kept getting ants in our room. My cousin stayed at the other side of the complex(as her family came with us) their room was kept cleaner, always had mopping done were as we never.
We didn't really take much interest in the entertainment as we had our 1 year old son with us.
The pools were fine but a little on the freezing cold side.
In all we would have to give the Bougainville a miss if we ever returned for a short break (sorry)

The rooms are clean and everyone actually smiles at you when they are serving you. We were really impressed with the complex as we had n4ever stayed in big complexes before.

Too far away from the beach, train left when full so we quite often missed it if we arrived on time.
Entertainment was laughable when the Airtours reps did their shows, really amauterish. Professional shows good.
Would definitley go back to Sa Coma again but not to the Booggie.

Our young children mostly enjoyed their stay and made some good friends.
We stayed at the back of the complex overlooking the pool by the big top. Youths congregated there into the early hours, frequently to 2/3 o'clock in the morning - many jumping into the pool fully clothed. This made it impossible to keep our rear windows open during the night for the cool breeze. Also there seemed to be a general lack of parental control, or security presence, as quite frequently youths were running around in the early hours shouting etc - very frustrating when you are trying to sleep without the benefit of air conditioning.
In the mornings sun bed wars started about 6.15, you quickly learn if you don't join in you won't get a bed.
From the youths drinking sessions glass was left poolside on more than 3 days - I cut myself once and was aware of at least 3 others who did likewise. On our last day quite a lot of glass was also found in the toddlers pool.
Most of this hassle could have been prevented if the stores on site were stopped from selling alcohol to 13/14/15/16 year olds. Nearly every time I went into the one store there was a youngster buying alcohol. I believe something may have been said as during our second week I noticed signs up in the stores and the noise level went down slightly - but you still saw plenty of 15ish children with drinks - occasionally totally ratted.
We didn't see to much of the entertainment - what we did see I'd tend to agree with previous messages - those put on by the reps being poor, others such as Chinese acrobats being good.
Whilst sc we paid for the buffet breakfast most days - which we found good value. We eat at the on site Le Tasca restaurant a few times and found it excellent - as good as anything in Sa Coma.
Not a lot in Sa Coma itself but clean with a nice beach. A case of pot luck with the restaurants - on more than one occasion we witnessed angry customers in places that we enjoyed good food and vice versa - many of the places seem not to be able to cater for people if they get busy. We were disappointed with the Hippodrome, and the Royal Oak. Had a lovely meal at a place I can't remember - frequented mainly by locals, but they seemed to neglect tourists when busy and some walked out.
We played the mini golf a few times, good, and went to Cala Millor - seemed more to do there. Would recommend the Pirates show.
All in all we'd rate the holiday 6/10, the children would probably say 8/10.
If they could control the underage drinking, and move the complex 10 minutes closer to the resort then we'd give it more.
