We were a little worried having read the reviews but had a lovely 2 weeks despite not travelling with children.

The reception staff were excellent as were the entertainment team. The bar staff I found were also very friendly but it might be down to the fact that I can speak a little Spanish and tried to practice with them at every opportunity.

The apartments were clean and our cleaner was excellent. Clean towels 3 times a week. We had a one bedroom apartment which was ok for us but would be a little cramped if there was four of you. The apartment had all the essentials complete with microwave (which we never used)

The pool and grounds were kept spotless. The shops on the site were ok for us and convenient for odds and ends. We ate out most of the time therefore didn't need much. There is a hypermarket which stocks everything. Despite it being a family orientated hotel we too found a quiet spot to rest before exploring.

There is a nice tv lounge which is non smoking and ideal place to sit and relax with a book as the as during the first week the weather was mixed.

My only complaint was that depending where you are located your neighbours overlook your veranda and you don't have much privacy.

If you are a smoker please note that there are no cigarette machines in the complex you have to go down to the Spanish cafe to use the cigarette machine. There is a tobacconist in Sa Coma.

All in all a great holiday, would recommend it either early or late in the season if you are a couple.

Review removed. We do not accept reviews posted from the country where the hotel is for obvious reasons.

Plase re-submit when back in the UK.

We arrived early hours of the morning. Hotel looked very nice check in was quick and we found our apartment which was just at the side of reception up some steps.

We were dying for a cup of tea as we had been travelling all day when we put the kettle on it blew the electics I went down to reception and the security guard hcame with a new kettle within minuits excellent service.

The pool was huge and bit cold but it was only may and the kids loved it.

The entertainment staff were excellent they were there from 9am till 12.30pm and always spoke and were very helpfull. The entertainment at night was brilliant we used to rush back to the big top if we had been into Sa Coma in fact we seemed to always be rushing about there was so much to do and we only stayed for a week not enough time.

We went to pirates one night which was good but my son and had been before 2 years ago so it was very much the same,
but we also went to Son Amar it was a fantastic show we would all recomend it.

We would definitely go back to this hotel but would recomend 2 weeks. Also we highly recomend when your eating out to go to the Royal Oak a ten minute walk from the Bouganville it has so much to chose from and huge portions excellent value.

We stayed at the Bouganvilla for two weeks self catering and it was a brilliant holiday. The rooms were cleaned 5 out of 7 days, towels and sheets changed often too. The apartments were nicely furnished. The pools were massive, these too were kept spotlessly clean, cleaners were around all over the complex. We ate out most of the time , but also ate on the complex, plenty to suit all tastes. The supermarket onsite was ok, all staff were very friendly and helpful. It took me a while to find my way around the apartments, this place is huge!! Our teenage son found something to do every minute of the day, he thoroughly enjoyed it and made lots of friends. The reps were fantastic. What a brilliant place this is. 10/10 ( didn't even have to get up early for a sunbed, now that makes a change.)If you've got kids, no matter what age they are, then go to the boogie, they'll have a fantastic holiday!!

The complex is huge, very clean and there are 2 kids pools which are very clean and stunning but they are freezing cold.

We all stayed in a 1 bed apartments which was pretty basic but did the job. The maids came every other day but if you wanted the beds changing you had to strip them yourself and leave the washing on the floor otherwise they'd just make your beds without changing the sheets. They never sweeped the floor from day 1 as we visited the beach on the mon and was still walking sand around on the sat we left.

The reception staff were friendly and always willing to order you taxis for wherever you wanted to go.

We found the entertainment terrible as this holiday was recommended to us as the ultimate must for young kids but all they did was have a mini disco for 1 hour every night then it went onto adult time which bored the kids to tears.

The hotel was in the middle of nowhere so needless to say we wont be visiting here ever again and we even left a week early it was that boring, luckily we managed to get last minute flights.

Arrived early hours of the morning, couldnt find our apartment as it is a big place. Friendly security guard found it for us, first impression small for 5 of us in a 2 bedroom apartment but looked clean and tidy, very humid in the rooms, didn't sleep all night all we could here was lorries dogs and a cockerel.

Asked to be moved next morning which we did to a very big apartment thought this was better. It had a microwave toaster kettle and two rings weren't bothered though cause we always eat out which helped us been above the bakery.

Pools were lovely for the kids a bit cold for me though, my son loved the football through the day and their was water polo darts pool.

Went to the big top on a night couple of times prices a rip off, we ended up just drinking outside big top with drinks bought from the shop which was much cheaper, hypnotist good, Jackson five tribute was rubbish.

Had a meal at restaurant it was nice but others we were with didn't like theirs so we never went back.
Apartment fair walk to restaurants but we enjoyed that as it was nice to walk of your dinner.

Would go back but out of season because it was just nice for October, weather was really hot come back with lovely tan. It would be to hectic July and August.

Had read very mixed reports before travelling so am giving very honest opinion. 1 bed apt was on small side for a family with 2 teens (14 and 16) but amply equipped.

Whole of this massive complex was spottlessly clean, though it made us wonder why the staff sometimes bothered with pig ignorant Brits dumping litter everywhere when bins never more than a metre or two away!

Prices on site were quite expensive but we found the whole resort was much more expensive than last time we went to Majorca 3 years ago.

Entertainment pretty naff but ok I guess for families with young kids or those who are very easily pleased or even those who put the kids to bed when the Big Top closed at 12 then sat outside apts with own drinks keeping everyone else awake till 4 am. Then allowed the kids to scream and shout and run up and down staircases at 7am (you getting the picture?) We were bored at night but our kids made friends and they did make most of it doing their own thing. Luckily weather was great so enjoyed the fabulous pool areas during the day.

Complex a pleasant 15 min stroll into town, couldn't understand why people stood queueing for mini train which runs till 6 every day. Resort in our opinion far too British and staff were gobsmacked (but loved it)when we spoke to them in Spanish.

In all a lovely complex spoiled by ignorant guests. Compare it to Butlins? No chance, something to do at Butlins!!! Would I go again? Maybe if I took my young grandson and half a dozen good books to read.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very small for two adults 2 kids and a baby.

The apartment Was very basic but you get what you pay for. When the front door opened you couldnt get into the cooker it was in an akward place.

There is a small restaurant and the food was perfect and the staff very friendly. There was also three small shops. They were expensive but if you want to buy uk brands you have to pay the price Spanish brands are cheaper.

The pool was brilliant perfect for kids and there were lifegaurds on duty most if the day.We had no problems getting sun beds at any time of day.

The entertainment was ok for kids we didnt wait after the mini disco but could here it and it was very loud
This place is what every one else has said butlins and if you like butlins youll love it,

My only complaint was the location you had to walk everywhere. The mini train was fine but if you missed it you would have to wait and I felt that the driver was not the cheeriest of people but that could be the langauge barrier,

Hi

Have been meaning to post a review for those who are yet to go...we were dreading going after reading all the terrible reviews and the good news is that it was nowhere near as bad as we thought it would be.

The complex is massive but was very clean and has 2 childrens pool that are very safe and clean. We had a 1 bed apartment and I can honestly say that it was one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in. It was fairly big and was cleaned 5 days out of 7. There were maids and cleaners around ALL the time we were there and I never saw a spot of litter.

Getting a sunbed wasn't a problem but some people who were there said that it's impossible to get one during the summer months.

The staff on reception were lovely, the food was nice, the minimarket on site was great and there's a take away.

Sa Coma is a bit of a trek away so we just got a taxi, reception ordered us one every night and it came in about 3minutes and was really easy to get one back again too! We weren't very impressed with Sa Coma itself (but the beach was lovely). It is well worth a 10 min taxi ride into Cala Bona which is gorgeous.

There was entertainment at night which was very family minded but stopped just before midnight so it wasn't noisy - not sure if this will continue into Oct.

All in all we thought the complex was fine and we had a great relaxing time. However, I would never in a million years like to stay here during the summer months, I can well believe it would be mayhem!!
