Thought it would be really quiet it been april but their was loads open from shops to bars, we sat on the beach which was lovely but see was really cold. We did a lot of walking a nd the views of santa ponsa were lovely.

Very quiet even for March but a very nice resort, very little traffic and a good selection of bars and restaurants, especially if you like Irish Bars. Most of the resort was closed but there were gems to be found. Toms bar for an afternoon beer and The Auld Triangle for some Entertainment later in the evening. The best breakfast is at Arkles opposite the hotel, dont miss it!
A taxi into Magaluf was 10 Euro but we preferred Santa Ponsa. The local bus into Palma was great value at 2.55 euro taking about 40 mins.

Santa Ponsa beach is a fantastic beach, maintained to very high standards. Plenty going on in the resort, mainly in irish bars if you can handle the volume. its a shame there's not more spanish entertainment; more salsa bars, maybe tapas nights to encourage people to try something different. The boat trips are good value, especially the 2 hour one. I wouldn't bother with the 5 hour boat trip; too long and too many stops with nothing to do (the first stop you get off to get a cup of coffee/tea) and its a shame there is no entertainment on the boat, Gloria Estefan wouldn't exactly put you in a party mood! You will enjoy your time in santa ponsa, its easy going, safe & nobody hassles you to come into restaurants etc so if its relaxation, good weather, nice beach, a small place to get around then st ponsa is up there! enjoy

Resort reasonably quiet but looking good. Did alot of walking in the good weather. Took a couple of trips to the Irish quarter and no doubt the cost of drinks is going up. Probably enjoyed the Irish Bar up near the square better (The Auld Triangle) good entertainment for our age group. This was our fourth visit to Santa Ponsa at this time of the year and we have always enjoyed it.
