Santa Ponsa is a quieter resort than places like Magaluf and Palma Nova. It appeals maybe to families who want a quiet holiday place and are prepared to travel to noisier plces for their entertainment!
The beach is clean and the small town nice. There are a number of bars and restaurants available, some quite small and 'local'.
We usually prefer to travel around Mallorca, and this was a good starting point.

The resort itself was good plenty of choice with resturants and bars with or without entertainment.
The beach was nice it is set in a bay and there is plenty of space even though it was quite busy, you can hire boats and peddlows from here.

Santa Ponsa I found to be very clean.
Entertainment was great up in the Square, we had children with us so we didnt travel any further or get to see what the bars and clubs were like.
Beach was delightful, very clean, no dips in the water and lots of places to get food around the beachfront.
Definitely a place for going back to - plan on going again next year.
