I'd not heard of Santa Ponsa before I went there, but I'm glad I did. It's a beautiful resort, and not overly busy like Magaluf, which was nice. It's situated in a bay, giving wonderful views all around. The beach had clean white sand, the sea is as blue as I've ever seen. Go there if you get the chance.

Theres lots of family bars and clubs to go to a night but not many that we found had evening entertainment for the family and kids. If u travel a bit futher out, You can walk or get a cab here for 5 euros up to the square which has tribute bands every night and bars with entertainment. A great place for the family. The beach is great just a 5 inute walk it costs seven euros fifty for tw bed and an umbrealla. i would definatley come here again expecailly to jutlandia apartments. Our holiday was great!!

santa ponsa is a very pleasant resort. It is clean and friendly and has many good restaurants. You must, must, must try a meal at crocodillos bistro fantastic sevice delicious
food at a reasonable price but try to get there before 7.30pm or you will have to wait for a table. also recommend sa terrassa overlooking the beach great location try to eat aroung 8.30pm when the sun goes down.Resort has a lovely clean beach and great facilities for beach lovers also very panoramic views. This resort is mainly an irish resort so expect almost an excessive amount of irish bars and restaurants along one side of resort we did not venture there as we were told that it could be quite intimidating if you were english which was a shame. The irish people we met were very warm and friendly so I wouldnt let that put you off.If you are into Tennis I would highly recommend Santa Ponsa Country Club I had a knock with Lee the tennis coach who was extremely helpful in organising doubles and singles and the place itself is absolutely stunning with great facilities amongst the most beautiful surroundings. We will return to Sant Ponsa as it is the nicest resort we have stayed at in majorca and it is perfectly situated for the best sightseeing on the island. ps. Drivers actuallu stop for you at zebra crossings.

The resort on the whole was good, their were many good features, food wise i can recommend the wok wok chinese, and tradition wise theirs a burger king and a mcd's simply take a left then the next right from the rey don. the beach was very good, it had sunbeds priced at 2.50 with a parasol at 2.50 however we were told several times, they are not transferable, im sure you will here "it is not possible" alot when visiting the beach. You must lookout for the sunbed guy, we nicknamed him "becks" as he always had a becks hat on, as he is very sharp when it comes to catchin people on his beds. The sea was very good theirs a floating slide kinda thing just a short swim out, and thiers lots of stuff available to rent on the side such as pedlo's coming in at 9 euro's per hour. bar/club wise was, good. if you have kids i recommened "strings" simply come out of the rey don, take a left then a right go to the top of the hill and its just past the fountain. also the hawian was very good. Club/teen wise their are a few good place's to go, kittys, disco inferno, and fama are the 3 main clubs. however green hills was also very good. for familys i recommend the square, its about a 15 minute walk from the rey don. from the water fountain take a left, go to the very top of the hill and over, then kind of wonder to the left, ther are show's such as tina turner and robbie, christina etc. if you need to check on email etc. their is a cyber cafe close by. simply come out of the reydon jaimie take a right then take the two next rights and your thier, priced at 1.50 per 30 minutes. As far as magaluf its about 7-10 euro's max in a taxi any more than that refuse to pay, and take it from me they dont half put thier foot down.To get back simply take a right after boomerangs and thier should be alot of taxi's showing a green light raise a thumb and your sorted! i would try and avoid the lucky lucky men, they can become annoyin, their fraise of the year is probably eyyy del boy. simply say police and point. or say spreken de deutch, seems to work well if your not in the mood to be hounded. Hope all this helps, enjoy your holiday in santa ponsa !

Well to be honest we didn't really bother going out and about the resort as we chilled out.But the pavements were always being cleaned. They have plenty bins.No dgs allowed on the beach. The beach is so lovely the best i have been on and you get a nice breeze down there! Its not a hilly place which was sooo good!Everything you need is central.ALl the bars and even a laundrette up the road!

I was amazed at the cleanliness of the streets in Santa Ponsa. There were street sweepers on the go at least twice a day and for such an active resort, especially at night time, this was very well organised.
Being Irish, the entertainment was almost like being at home in a lot of the pubs! All the staff and reps working in the resort were very pleasant and friendly.
We spent most of our time on the side of the beach nearest our apartments and it was kept very clean and tidy. However, as we had friends staying on the opposite side of the beach, we spent a few days over there. This side was not as clean and there was a lot of litter thrown around.
In all, it was a brilliant holiday and a beautiful resort!

Santa Ponsa is an excellent holiday resort.
The pubs and clubs are great especially the Shamrock, Cheekos and Greenhills. The atmosphere is great with something happening all the time.
The beach is lovely with jet skis, banana boat rides etc all available.
The people in Santa Ponsa are very welcoming and the resort is only 10 min drive (appox 6/7euro taxi fare)to Magalf where nightclubs such as BCM can be found.
Overall 5* holiday destinaton particularly suited to groups of young people.

It is the type of resort that caters for everyone, if you want a quiet drink then there are lots of places opposite the beach, if you want a hectic nightlife then you go to the Square, or visit any of the many Irish Bars.
Everyone is so friendly, and the locals make you very welcome.
The Beach is superb, ideal for swimming and very safe for children, there are the usual Bars, Cafe's and Souvenier Shops, I would highly recommend the resort to anyone, and I am looking forward to going back again.
