Santa Ponsa is a clean and friendly resort. Strong Irish community who always have a smile and stop for a chat. Entertainment is typical of any spanish resort and even the worst singers sound better after the measures of spirits you are given!!!

The resort is really lovely. Suitable for everyone, couples - young and old, people with children and literally anyone that wants to have a good time.
There are loads of types of bars, Irish, Scottish, and lots of fun bars again something to suit everyone’s taste. There is 'the square' which has bars and eating places surrounding an open air stage which has a different tribute band every night, it's free to listen to.
The beach is large and cleaned daily with sunbeds and thatched umbrellas, not sure what watersports they do though.
There is a tree lined walk way to one side of the beach, and the trees are full of parrots. The shops/restaurants are lined the other side of the road. Mainly souvenir and costume jewellery type shops.
For those who go self catering, no shortage of eating places for you, from MacDonald’s, pizzerias, steak bars, pastas, and good old fashion roasts. There are also places where you can book trips to see the rest of the island, reasonably priced too.
In my opinion, anyone visiting Santa Ponsa, will not be disappointed, we certainly weren't!!!

This was my first visit to Santa Ponsa and I was very surprised how clean the place was. Entertainment was limited to the many Irish bars in the area.
As we had a small child with us we did not manage to get to the square where there is an open air stage holding concerts as it was a bit of a walk from our hotel.
I will be in the near future be visiting this resort again.

Having family here we visit alot and we still like the resort. There's lots for all ages really, lots of yummy places to eat, We like the South wind half way up the strip, but we have not had a bad meal yet from any. Electric beech and burlington berties for the young age have lots and also play stations etc. At the top of the strip there a place called the square, they have different turns on each night. They have a lot more nightclubs now but not been in for a few years. Only 10 euros away in a taxi there's theame parks, we went to western waterpark this year and it was a great day out and lots of fun water rides but try as many as you can. Have not been to pirates but will try that next time as I was told that was brill. And after shopping here (perfume on par with plane prices but have little gifts with them) dip your feet in the sea or walk on the soft sands. Hope this helped have a nice time.

A lovely resort with a beautiful beach, great for families.
Plenty of restaurants and bars offering entertainment. A special mention for the Rovers Return, the first time I have frequented a brit bar abroad. There was a great singer/guitarist and one evening we saw a tribute act to the Four Tops that were truly excellent.
Only booked for a 4 day break and sad to come home.

The hotel location was fine, close to all the amenities.
Found a local scottish bar around the corner,we ate there most days. Food there was excellent so our kids didnt starve. Plenty of English and Irish bars really good atmosphere.
If we ever went again we would go selfcatering.

Santa ponsa is an excellent resort with a wonderful beach the town is not too big, but has everything you might need. There are some very good bars and restaurants and you can eat very cheaply or go for quality and elegance. There are plenty of water sports and golf courses available, and with Palma for shopping and magaluf for clubbing only a short bus or taxi ride away you can't go wrong.

Very quiet - worth a visit in high season !

Our first visit,we will be returning.
Nice family, laid back sort of place. Clean & safe. We went in March, so a bit quiet, but could see that there would plenty to do at night in the high season.
One road seemed to be full of Irish bars and clubs. Beach nice and clean with a wooded area at the back. Some parts of the resort are very hilly so a bit of research might be required if you have mobility issues or have to push a buggy.
