The beach is lovely! But stay away from this hotel!
Don't go. There are much better places to stay in Menorca

Gorgeous resort, some of the most beutiful scenery you will ever feast your eyes on. Try out the restaurants down at the beach for a special gourmet treat!
Check out the secluded beach at Na Macaret a short walk away. The local doctors and chemist are most helpful in an emergency and we have a few. Please visit Arenal d'en
Castel there is plenty of accomodation available but pick wisely where you stay if you know what I mean.

Absolutely loved the resort. OK so it's not a 'hotspot' of entertainment, but it depends what you are looking for. If you have a young family (my kids 7 and 4), it was perfect, as we weren't looking for nightclubs and bars. Plenty of restaurants to cater for our needs. Beach fantastic. Took kids on a pedalo one afternoon, which was good value for money, kids loved sliding down the slides on the pedaloes. We are going back in 2004, albeit in different accommodation, but loved the resort enough to go again. We can't wait to go back. Guess it's not for everyone, but not everyone is the same, so you are never going to please everyone.

A fairly quiet resort but very nice. If there for 2 weeks yoo would probably benefit from hiring a car and exploring rest of the island.
I would recommend visiting Mahon Harbour in the evening - loads of shops, bars and restaurants open late into eveing. Also enjoyed visiting Son Bou and St Thomas both with fantastic beaches, FornellS and the old capital Ciutadela - the port and old town had a lovely atmosphere and nice shops. I only found thgis when mum was in hospital nearby at end of hol and we wished we'd visited during our stay.
Arenal itself lovely but quiet

The resort was very clean, the Irish Bar is definitely worth a visit. There is a local bus which stops outside the hotel which takes you to Mahon or Fornells, a beautiful pictoresque place.
There are not that many different entertainment venues in the resort but we sampled as many as we could!
Mi Pizza - Good Karaoke, Food is apparently excellent although we didn't try it. We were only in it at night.
Hotel Beach Bar - Good food and very friendly staff
Irish bar - Good fun but beware the mosquitos!
English Bar - Friendly, family run bar with family entertainment - bingo, karaoke, quizes etc most nights. Also at the Coves Noves area which has the aformentioned bouncy castles etc which went down very well with the little ones who we met.
This is a small quiet resort which would not suit everyone but if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with a late night if you want it (my husband was still in the Irish Bar at 3.15 on one occasion and he was one of the first to leave) then I would recommend it to anyone.

Have been to this resort before, thats why we came back.Beach is beautiful and clean so is the sea.Spent many hours in the sea with my daughter. It was about 13 Euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella to rent all day (which we needed as there was no shade).
