The beach is lovely! But stay away from this hotel!
Don't go. There are much better places to stay in Menorca

The Arenal is a fantastic place. Great views and everything in close proximity. The Irish bar is a must to visit, live entertainment and great atmosphere.
It is not a resort for the young with out kids, but is an ideal family holiday.
The private beach that everyone uses is very clean, with fish swimming around your legs. Great for snorkelling.

Was some mess from the bars near the restaurants first thing in the morning at the bottom of the town, but was generally cleared up by 10.00am.
There are several bars you can go to, but the hotel is more than enough if you want a quiet holiday.
The Beach is fantastic, clean & spacious - not to be missed.
If you want a relaxing holiday - then this is for you.

Although the surrounding area was quite shabby and littered the actual beach itself was excellent.

This is the best resort we have been to the beach is very clean. The beach bars have very good food and service, the bars and restaurants are very good. The Irish bar has live music every night. Richard Kane's has good food and the staff there are really friendly.
The Spar supermarket has fresh bread buns etc.
Coves Noves about 10 min walk has things for the kids to do, the bars are excellent.
The overall resort is excellent

A very clean and tidy resort, no litter around. Entertainment okay, not a great deal dont think i would really recomend this place for young couples wanting a lively disco resort you just wont get it.
The beach is tremendous, you couldnt imagine anything more perfect, clalm sea, beautiful beach, the main attraction to the holiday, you can even feed the fish bread at the shore, they love it from tiddlers to bigger ones. Couldnt get my son and husband out of the sea once we got them snorkels.
We've booked for this year so yes we are coming again.

A quite resort but if you can get a car it only takes about 30 mins to cross the island. People say it can be done in a day but it can't. We had a car for three days and still had plenty more to see. Bars are supposed to be good especially the Irish bar, although we didn't get to go there, many people did. Beautiful beach great for the kids also as the water is shallow and calm. I would recommend you get a lilo to lay on as the sunbeds are expensive @ 15euros, each and you cannot share one between you.

Resort is pretty spread out, mostly around the bay.
Four bars, (Irish and English handily within 100m of each other in centre, the other two at Coves Noves) and roughly 10 cafe/restaurants clustered around the centre plus 3 at at Coves Noves and another two towards the west of the resort.
In general the resort is very quiet, Irish and English pubs the busiest with some singing but nothing out of hand. Certainly no drunkeness seen or heard. For Menorca e.g. family friendly, there seemed to be quite a lot of couples without children which surprised us. It wouldn't have been our first choice if we hadn't got the children with us (7 and 2) as everywhere on the island is pretty much orientated around children.
Beach excellent, buy an umbrella and a couple of lilos, you'll spend about 15 euros, which is the same price as you'll be charged daily for an umbrella and two loungers on the beautiful beach.
If you have children then Coves Noves is worth going to. From the Aguamarina side its 200m up the road, from the Centre its 10 mins walk. Inflatable park with trampolines etc.
Car hire opposite Coves Noves is cheaper than the multinationals tied with the hotels.
If you fancy a walk (or run) there are a number of paths and even asphalt roads connecting Arenel with Son Parc. There is a coastal path which continues westward after Son Parc but it seemed to peter out after a couple of miles.
Didn't find an abundance of good running routes, ended up on main highway out to Alaior, which was ok but not much to see (and inland). Strangely the cloudy (cooler?) mornings were the worst for running in, but then maybe thats just me.
Wonderful quiet resort, family orientated, beautiful sand, very clear clean water (even outside the bay). If weather was poor I guess hiring a car to reach other amenties would be the answer.
Lots of development on the outskirts of the resort but we only saw this while on the train. This is taking place at the Marina park side of the resort, ironic really as its the furthest hotel complex from the sea)

The resort is quiet, but does have numerous places to take a stroll and even stop for a meal or drink.
