The beach is lovely! But stay away from this hotel!
Don't go. There are much better places to stay in Menorca

Excellent resort!
Superb beach - clear water and lovely golden sand.
There are a few shops and bars / restaurants around - but if you are looking for the olde worlde market type town it certainly isnt that!
Nice area to walk around for an evening stoll with beatiful views over the bay.

The resort was very clean. Very limited amount of shops/bars etc, so in our opinion, fine if you are staying for a week but would struggle for longer. Beach very clean and sea was gorgeous, but the sunbed hire is extortionately priced - 15 Euros for 2 beds and an umbrella. Plenty of space never too crowded. Again drinks very expensive in bars.

We found the resort nice and clean with the shops and bars within walking distance.
There isn't a real lot of entertainment about but we found a good bar [Mi pizza] that had kareoke 3 times weekly. We were made really welcome there and on our last night they reserved a table for about 10 of us who were going.
The beach was lovely, we were told by the rep the sunbeds were expensive to hire so we just took our beach towels and laid on them. The sea was lovely and we all went for a swim. The beach was really clean.
We would definitely go back, we all really enjoyed it.

Quiet and clean. Good beach. Few typical touristy shops and couple of supermarkets but at other side of bay more shops (including Lacoste) just opened.

Arenal is quiet. That's its beauty. Come here if you want a beach and sun and walking. Forget it if you want discos, bars, and nightlife. Whole resort was silent by midnight every night - it was bliss - most relaxing holiday ever!
Arenal may be relatively small and quiet but it's not lacking for any necessities. There may only be one road in and out - but that means no through traffic so very peaceful. There are atleast 5 supermarkets easily walked to in Arenal. Cafe's and bars serving food atleast twenty or more, plus various other shops and giftshops dotted about.

Very clean, no problem there at all. The resort entertainment was very quiet to say the least, but it was early in the season. The irish bar is worth a visit!
After midnight you will bump into Kelly (she likes white wine and soda). We have been to this resort twice now, with 23 years in between visits, so we don't think we will be going again, unless Thomson Gold has a very special offer on.

Arenal has without doubt one of the most picturesque beaches on the island, other than those which are remote.
The view from the sea view rooms is superb with turquoise crystal clear waters and a beach with plenty of room, the photos do not do it justice. Very safe for children but sunbeds extortionate at 17 euros for 2 beds and a brolly- you can buy a large brolly for 10 euros in the supermarket!
The hill was nothing like we expected-and we only used the bus back up on day one.
I accept it would be difficult for less abled people.
We recommend the area.
