Beaches

Plenty to do for children or if you don't like that sort of thing then you can find a quiet cove away from it all.

The beaches could have been a bit bigger but they were very clean and beautiful

what an amazing place cala n forcat is. family friendly and beautiful. great places to eat at reasonable prices with nice staff and a quick service. no mad loaud music and people dragging you in off the street either, the crepes from jimmy hills were so tasty. already booked to go back again next year.

The resort was fairly quiet, but busy enough for people with young familys, as most places closed around midnight, the majority of resturants had some sort of play area for kids.

The resort was great plenty to do and keep us entertained to say we are only 18 and 19. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from as well as three nightclubs which are situated in the square. Bluebreeze has to be the best every1 in there are so friendly and the locals are always wanting a dance. They dont tend to get busy until late about midnight so dont go out to early in case you spend all your money before it gets busy.
The restaurants are really nice they go from your typical english food to your menorcan custom. Try the Black Horse breakfasts well worth the money and you get a full plate full. The best restautants we went to were Haiti, los delfines and the mexican on the corner the food came quickly and was hot and not to highly priced.
It isnt your shopping town and if thats what you want its well worth getting the bus into cuitadella on market day for all your souvieners and presents its very cheap and there are a variety of shops to try but shop around dont go to the first shop you see!!
Overall the resort itself was great there was a big waterpark and lots to do we dont have children but there were lots of bouncy castles and inflatables to keep the entertained on a night. Would definately return to Cala n Forcat in a few years times when we have seen a bit more of the world..

Cala N'Forcat is a lovely place to go with families and has all your needs to keep the kids happy. As many bouncy castles or whales as you would want, a nice waterpark and a good mixture of pubs and restaurants.

Surprisingly for July/August the tiny Cala Forcat beach was not crowded and is truly beautiful. The water is very clear and shallow for tots. Many people were snorkelling to see the abundance of fishes swimming in the waters.
I was surprised that Cala Forcat is supposed to be the liveliest resort on the island as most of the entertainment is low key and all hotel/bar entertainment finished at midnight.
There are the usual tacky gift shops - if you want more sophisticated shops then catch one of the frequent buses to Cuitadella for 1.25 euros. Well worth the trip, with a magnificent harbour (ferries to Majorca) and old town with cathedral and many historic buildings.

The resort was spotlessly clean - every morning the pool area was jet washed and there was a strict code of no eating by pool which I agree with.
The resort entertainment was excellent, something for everyone, water polo, killer pool, killer darts, kids club during the day and every evening there was games, mini disco, bingo, quiz and at 10pm a show would begin either outside entertainment or the First Choice entertainment team would take the stage.
We would certainly go back again!!

The resort itself is fantastic lovely views can't beat the weather plenty to see and do, but lack of beaches for the children spoils it.
Plenty of restaraunts shops bars etc., would definetly recommend this resort.

Resort very child friendly. Many restaurants had play areas attached-so mealtimes were made easy.
Beaches small and got quite busy.
All in all a good resort for families with kids 3-10, as plenty of play areas and child friendly restaurants. If I was going looking for a "nice"restaurant that had traditional Menorcan dishes or seafood I'd be hard pushed to find one.
