We arrived on the 30th July and was so glad we hadn't arrived any earlier! The first two days were scary to say the least! It took about 20 to 30 mins to get a drink, and you had to be up at 5.30am, yes, 5.30am to get a sunbed! However it seemed that a lot of big groups went home on the 1st August so it seemed much better! Sunbeds started being chained up and not unlocked until after 8am and it took a lot less time to get drinks.

The hotel rooms are really clean and the maid comes in EVERY day to change towels and replenish toiletries and toilet rolls etc.

The restaurant is well organised. You have to wait at the door to be seated by staff which is good as you are not running around trying to find an empty table and also no-one is stood watching you waiting for your table! We were never waiting more than a couple of minutes no matter what time we went in. The food was always hot and well presented. It was never left to stand and fresh would be put out before it had all gone. We never heard of anyone being ill due to the food. Plates and cutlery were always clean.

The staff were always polite and helpful to us and work really hard. Entertainment staff fantastic.

The only let down I would say for an all inclusive holiday is that you have to pay for bottle water and icecreams. The snack bar only dispenses 3 different items (toasties, hot dogs and burgers) and isn't open much throughout the day. Other than that, a brill hotel! Would definately go back!

what can i say brilliant ,we went to this hotel being very optimistic having read the previous reviews.on first inpressions reception was clean and tidy ,one word of warning if you plan to arrive before 12 pack your cossie at the top of your case ,as you wont be able to get into your room until after 12pm.
the bar staff were great they did their best only 1 bar open during the peak season seemed wrong too me,qeueing is a great way to make freinds though and the 2nd week was better as alot of the large parties went home .the food was great always fresh and hot and plenty of choice weve had far worse !the adults part of the dinning room is great our two teenagers ate on their own in the eveings which meant that we could have a nice peacful meal just the two of us.bliss
Rooms were clean,i would say that the bathrooms are quite compact as said in previous reviews ,however im quite a big lady and i didnt have ant probs so dont worry about that one!
Entertainment what can i say if you could rate this out of 10 i would say 12 ,there was never a dull momnet and that song the sunshine song it gets stuck in your head still find myself singing now and the ola olla one too very sad but i cant stop myself .johan ,alex and team were ace .
the only down side paying for icecreams but they did have some at meals times so have your fill then having said that only 1 euro not bad really lso bottled water is 1euro for a litre .
all in a great holiday we all loved it and the tears on the coach coming home from our daughter was the icing on the cake ,she wants go back now .would love to go back next year ,but we want to try somewhere else .

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Sur Menorca near Punta Prima. This was our 2nd visit as we came here 2 years ago. We noticed a great improvement in the evening entertainment to our previous visit, Johan and team work really really hard and we saw 4 proffessional acts in the week we stayed there. The only thing negative to say was that this time, the lunch time menu seemed to be alot better and hotter than evening meal time. But to be honest there was always something for everyone and I find that some people just like to moan!! The hotel is a bit remote as its about 20min walk into Punta Prima centre and theres not a great deal there anyway. We personally would not visit again, but only because we have never been anywhere twice before, so that must be a good recommendation. Please don`t be put off by other peoples comments. This place a really friendly hotel which the kids will love as well as the adults.

This hotel is fantastic for families!! There is always something to do, and even if you are not the sort of person who wants to join in with the various activities available, the entertainment team do such a great job that you feel on a constant high!(Special mention to Johann & Alex!!) We were lucky enough to have one of the apartments which had two bedrooms, living room, kitchen & 2 bathrooms. It wasn't what you would call 'luxurious' but hey, its a 3 star when all said and done. It was very clean- the maids cleaned every day. I found the food delicious, and never struggled to find something to eat. Sometimes we had to wait to get a drink from the bar, but it was only 10 mins maximum and that was very rare. My husband did have to get up at 7.45am in order to get a good sunbed position, but this seems the 'norm' wherever you go these days! There was a fantastic spirit amongst the guests at the hotel, and I must say I felt proud to be British, everyone was very friendly, polite and were good sports.

This hotel is in the middle of no where, a bus takes you to the very small village of three shops and a couple of bars.Hotel clean , slightly dated but comfortable.we were lead to believe that there was something for everyone , well there is if you are under 10years of age or in a very large group.pool area isquite small and sun beds are packed in like sardines, you have to get up very early to get a sun bed there (no germans present).Only one bar is open throughout the day so queues do happen, the bar staff are very quick and always happy, the resturant staff are very good as well there is an adults only section to the dining area and the staff are very keen to keep kids out of it.This seems to be the only time adults are considered.Rooms are comfortable the only problem being the tiny shower cubical which caused many problems for many people at the hotel.Reception staff are really nice and are allways happy to have a giggle with you.The hotel needs to address the sound system used for the entertainment it was difficult to understand the animation team .The food waas quite good allways fresh but could have been a bit hotter. This is the first time i have been AI and have had to pay for ice creams.

Just returned from this hotel.
Have been to Menorca many times, but this was our first all inclusive.
Doubtless many will disgree with my report (most previous reviews are excellent) but I have to speak as i find.
I was very suprised to have an AI holiday and have to pay for bottled water and ice creams....not what I had in mind when i booked.
I have always found Menorcans to be very friendly people - especially restaurant / bar staff....unfortunately the restaurant staff were completely bereft of personality and had lost the ability to smile.
The food was truly awful - cheap, poor quality, repetitive and dull - very Aldi!! The children's food was appalling....I am still trying to work out which part of the chicken was used to produce grey chicken nuggets!!
The hotel itself is fine - the room was clean and well maintained and the maids excellent and cheerful. Be prepared to get up early for the daily get your towel on a sunbed game. The position of the hotel was ok - free shuttle bus into the resort of Punta Prima ran every 10-15 minutes. This was the only way of getting to any shops.
If your idea of a great AI holiday is to drink your own body weight in San Miguel then this is for you.....if you are a little more discerning look somewhere else.

we took our 2 girls here this year and i must say, it was our greatest family holiday to date, We were assigned a brill room, ask for A18, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, the works, the hotel is absolutely perfect for kids, people moan about everything, but we had nowt to moan about, all was superb.
Punta prima was a let down, nothing there, so we had to make do with the hotel, this, believe me, was not a hardship.
The food was good, always something to eat, im a meat man, so was loads for me.
Lastly the entertainment team were superb, from 1030 am till 11pm you were laughing and dancing, even if you lie by the pool all day they are good fun,
Sunshine for me(theme tune) will live with me forever.
Would i go back to this hotel again, Yes Yes Yes, my daughters tears upon leaving made it worth every penny.

The entertainers: Ruth, Nathalie, Rieke, Johan and Alexx were the best, they were so friendly and so were the bar staff, i especially liked one barmaid she was so friendly and kind, all staff worked none stop, but none of them moaned that they were tired or anything, everybody there was like best friends we all just clicked.
Now it is my mission to go back-so hopefully i shall see you all next year!!!

Where can I start?

There isn't a superlative which can correctly describe how good this place is!

If I could offer a score of 10 out of 5 for the hotel staff I would do.

I'm sure that the Oxford English Dictionary will shortly show "see Sur Menorca" under the defintion of the word holiday in its next edition.

The animation team are fantastic and the sure testimony of the place is the sheer number of people that are there on their 3rd/4th/5th visit. This was our first but it wont be our last.

Top marks and excellent value for money.

Just come back from Sur Menorca and yet again it was a holiday that we didnt want to leave.

The hotel itself is fantastic, clean as you like! As we went all inclusive we only left the hotel to visit the beach, which i might add was absolutely beautiful ( we travelled there on the free bus which goes from the hotel to the beach every 15min) but it is only a 10min walk.

The entertainment team were fantastic, really easy to get along with and always make you smile! Johann, Alex, Reike and Jenny walk around with smiles on their faces 24/7, i really dont kno how they do it, but they were brilliant! the shows they put on were great to, especially Grease!
honestly i could go on and on about this hotel, hopefully going back next year!!

one minor problem with the all inclusive is that the spanish drinking water is salty, so when we wanted water we had to buy bottled water, but at 70p for 1.5 litres we werent exactly stretched! and to be honest on an all inclusive holiday you drink as much pop and alcohol as you like, 'let yourself go' so to speak! so it wasnt really a major issue!

i would HIGHLY recommend people go there whether you are a family party, couples parties or groups of friends theres something for all!
