This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

caleta du fuste is an excellent choice for a relaxing family holiday

Caleta is a lovely place. Theres a few things to do in the resort. A submarine ride that I felt sick on! Man made beach, but nice nonetheless. Plenty of people braiding hair etc...
Good place to take kids which I hope to do when I have some!

The resort is fairly small and clean, with the exception of the arrival of the timeshare touts. Steer clear of these people at all costs!
There are many bars and restaurants lining the streets, and most offer good food at reasonable prices. Night life was on the increase on this visit, and is mainly on the inland side of the town.
The beaches are clean, and there is a sand sculpturer showing off his? art daily. You've gotta see those, they're brill!

The resort is purpose built with a man made beach with
not a lot of sand. This is not typical of fuerteventura and for beach lovers I would suggest going to jandia or costa calma.
Their are now plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and with the large amount of development taking place on the edge of the resort I think in 5 years or less
Caleta de Fiste will be over commercialised which is a shame.
The chipmunks are worth seeing as are the wild birds on the
cliff tops on the edge of the resort.

To coin a phrase it should be ok when its finished.
There is building work all over, although none of it intruded into my holiday.
Its location as a base to explore the island is good about half way down & near the airport.
There is little else to commend the place, except that compared to Nouvo Horizonte its Benidorm.

caletta de fuste the beach was fantastic, the cleaniness was second to none
Quiet resort, not many shops -plenty of small supermarkets if you are self- catering. Not much nightlife. Nice beach although view is marred at present by the building works going on on one side of the bay.
On flight path from airport but nwe heard no flights before 07.30 and none after 22.00. Not obtrusive noise.
Island is undeveloped pouside of resorts but has an untidy/unkept appearance.

As for the resort of Caleta De Fuste, we found it to be very clean and there is lots of places to eat. We found there to be a good variety as well, we found Portugese, Greek, Chinese and Italian reataurants. We didn't really find much entertainment in the resort, so we tended to go back to our complex for the evening entertainment as we knew we would be entertained.
We didn't visit the beach much as we liked the atmosphere around the pool. Plus it was so windy you'd have been covered in sand in half an hour!! We would definately go back to Caleta De Fuste and would go back to the Broncemar Beach apartments and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

Too many litter louts could not be bothered to put things in the bin.
This is butlins with the sun
what beach
if you want to go on holiday and join a lot of loud people with rude and abrupt kids (parents as well) this is the holiday for you.
THE ISLAND ITSELF IS GREAT..... OTHER PARTS

Caletta is a lovely place to visit, I have holidayed there for the last 6 years. There are plenty of bars and places to eat. The beach is man made and is poor in comparison to the beachs down south on the island.
