This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

Caleta de Fuste seems a fairly new town which is very clean and modern. The shops are nice and the town has several child friendly restaurants. It is an ideal resort for young children. The beach is clean, sandy and the sea slopes gently which is ideal for toddlers. There was a sandcastle school on the beach last year which was a big attraction for children, even the adults were intrigued by the lessons. I would recommend this resort for families but not really for teenagers looking for club life. We are all going again this year as it was ideal.

Caleta De Fuste is a lovely resort clean and unspoilt The resort entertainment is mainly hotel based so if the entertainment at the Castillo San Jorge isn’t what your looking for you can walk to another hotel 5 minutes away which is run by Airtours and they have plenty for the children and ensure the adults get involved and because the beer is 241 at happy hour you generally don’t mind. The beach is clean and has plenty of shops nearby and there is also tennis and a mini golf courses but that is about, there is no water park on the island at all which may be something to consider if you are travelling with older children. I would definitely return to this resort

Caleta is fine. A good choice of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. We went at the end of the season, not much evidence of nightclubs which suited us fine but you may be disappointed if thats your thing.
The beach was excellent and nobody stopped us using the Barcelo hotel facilities around the beach.
I would go back to Caleta.
Watch out for check in on your return flight..I'd been warned it was a free for all, poorly organised with queues...thats polite..it was a nightmare.

The Mexican corner was fantastic! The best food in town and great service.
If you like a proper English breakfast go to Chaplin’s.
We went on the catamaran it was not cheep but worth every penny! The price includes lunch on the boat, fresh sea food that looked lovely and my family loved it (I don’t eat sea food but if you tell them they will cater for you)
My little boy 8 loves sharks and it was the best part of the holiday for him to see sharks swimming next to the boat.
We have been to the resort 3 times and it's great if you like a quiet holiday.

The resort itself is spotless.
Entertainment is based around bars and restaurants as there is a lot of self-catering in the area. There is one nightclub, which gratefully, because of the boys, was closed when we went last September and the year before they were too young to get in. So this year they were a little lost for something to do, as in late September some of the places close. The Beach, is manmade and could do with some general upkeep, i.e. more sand where the concrete is coming through etc. Always plenty of room on the beach, unless you want to go right down by the sea. I would definately visit this resort again if I took the boys as it suits us all, and if it was just us, then after having been twice I am ready for a change this year, as the resort is very small and you get fed up of just going round the same 20 odd bars and shops. Cannot fault the hotel at all though!

the resort of caleta de fuste is wonderful. we have visited 4 times now and already thinking of when will be returning.pieros music bar is great it has a fantastic atmosphere and the waiter service is spot on.the beach is good apart from the rocks.all in all a good place for a family holiday as almost the whole resort is geared towards children.the restaurants are good especially metropolis when you are always gauranteed a warm and friendly welcome.

The resort it self we found to be quiet, but thats what we were told a we like that. We still enjoyed walking round the habour and the promande to feed the chipmonks. There was a market on Wednesday which was okay for a look round and buy some gifts ect. There was a varity of shops, cafes and bars. We would still go there again.

Small, everything is sorted into little shopping centres with restaurants bars cafes etc in them. Excellent english bar called the bailey, and an amazing steak house called fado rock, piccadily cafe did the best breakfast, chipmunk mountain is worth a look and the camel riding trip was the best day out of the hol.
