This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

What can I say we have been three times and will be back very soon. Excellent people and a very good holiday every time, never bored at all.Very good entertainment make sure you visit The Baileys in THE HAPPY CENTRE the only place to drink where they do give you the real thing to drink.
Some very good restaurants.

The beach is the cleanest i have seen anywhere. Have to walk to get a drink ro bite ot eat but at least no street sellers pester you. 7.50 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella little expensive but you got unlimtied use. Be warned the germans do get the best seats first!

There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the resort but little entertainment at night. It is very clean but there were a few cockroaches again at times. The beach was OK but a bit pebbly but the sea was crystal clear and it's a nice walk round the harbour. Outside of the resort there was not much to see unless you caught a bus to the other resorts. The saturday market wasn't up to much unless you like buying cheap fakes. The resort itself looks to be still developing as there are a lot of hotels still being built. There is not much history to Fuerteventura so don't go looking for a bit of culture.
We did have a good time but I wouldn't rush back.

Good family resort, everything within short walking distance, nice shopping area, interesting Saturday market, good range of restaurants. Lovely promenade walk down to harbour where you can see fish and seals in a sectioned off area. Large clean beach area, mainly sandy but rather stony entering water. No big discos or nightclubs so quiet end to evenings.

caletta de fuste is a fairly new resort, there are plenty of bars and restaurants up in the main part of town, our favourite was the Mona Lisa, not too expensive, and friendly service,we also liked the Sportsman Bar,again very friendly service.Ther are numerous bars with live entertainment. We hired a car (70 euros for three days)and drove to both ends of the island,Jandia looked lovely and the beach was superb,Coralejco was like blackpool without the chip shops,Beware!there are timeshare touts asking you to do a survey on the islands bookings being down on last year,it's a con.

The resort cleanliness with very good. There was a lot of entertainment in the resort which varied from bars and a few clubs.
The beach was amazing very clean and safe for children.
I would definitely go back.

Caleta de Fuste is near to the airport. This is the only major plus. It has no beach except a man made one.
Plenty of restaurants but most are fairly typical of a busy touristy area. Just so so. Particularly good Portugese restaurant in the main resort area. Centro Commercial complex beside Elba Sarah has some nice shops but are outrageously expensive.
Night life is not great but then Fuerte as an island tends to be quieter (which is what I love about it). It is better than staying in Correlajo, but Jandia/Costa Calma areas are far more preferable.

caleta de fuste is a lovely quiet town, you dont get bothered by any time share sellers and there is something for everyone of evey age. town is quiet and clean and people are very friendly. beach is very nice and clean, but when tide is out can be a bit stoney under foot. didnt go to any entertainment in the town as we liked the entertainment at the hotel but ate out most nights and had a good choice of food from chinese to good old english.

The resort is very quiet - it is a nice sort of quiet - you can walk around the shops there are not loads of holiday makers - although sometimes it would be nicer if it was busier, for example, you walk into a shop and feel watched!
There are laods of electrical shops - great if you want a new camera - but every shop has the same stuff - also there are a lot of jewellery shops - fantastic jewellery - probably at bargain prices - but well out of the average persons price range - huge diamonds and stuff.
The beach is man made - but is lovely - the sea is warm - (after a minutes) but Fueteventura means 'the windy isle' and it certainly is so it can get very choppy in the sea - there are life guards who seem to be very attentive though.
I would go again - but maybe not with the kids - it is definately more of a sunbathing and relaxing holiday - there are not many excursions other than to go to other beaches or shops - which are more or less the same as this resort.
