Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.
Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities

We stayed in Correlego. Arrived Boxing day for 10 nights. Plenty of eating places which served excellent food. Played alot of mini golf as nothing was happening at our hotel. Went to the Bacu Park every day to play golf but it was not open. Luckily the water park was open one day of our stay which was very good. Not really a lot to do.

We love Corralejo. it has something for everyone. good shops, good pubs and the beaches are out of this world.

Corralejo, once a small fishing village with a handful of restaurants has become a little more lively in the last 10 years. The beaches here are great - especially the sand dune beach which is breathtaking and practically deserted!
There are loads of restaurants to choose from and they are very accommodating with children.
The resort is mainly geared towards families and couples which was perfect for us with a toddler - no rowdy groups to contend with and no noisy bars. You don't get the hassle here either off street sellers and restaurant/bar workers that you might in some of the other canary island resorts.
There are activities in and around the resort including a water and animal park, trampolines and mini golf.
It was our third visit to this resort and it was perfect for our family for a quiet week in the sun.

Resort fine and a good balance of things to do with a young family and busy enough but not too loud on a evening. If you're active then there is loads of watersports - windsurfing & kitesurfing etc on flag beach 10 min bus ride as well as mountain biking in the resort. Beaches great particularly flag beach. You can visit Lanzarote by ferry which leaves regularly throughout the day - approx 30min transit.

resort was clean enough (apart from the dog poo)but overall it was kept in a good state of health, although we went in a none busy time of year, so this may change in peak times.
resort entertainment was a bit bare, not a lot of childrens themes going, yet again certain bars looked upon you with frowns if you walked in with a buggy and baby
beach standard was overall good on the town beach, flag beach and oliva beach all very good, on the latter two, there is a lot of nudity if this offendeds you.
would i visit this resort again, after all the negativity ive wrote on my hotel ect.... the answer is yes i would, i made some nice good friends who live there, and i found most of the people very friendly

The resort is having a make-over which is much needed having greatly expanded in recent years the old town is looking a bit tatty and in need of a clean up. The beaches are clean and tidy and the quay is a pleasure to walk around. Places to eat are plenty and good.
There is a good ferry link to Lanzarote which takes 30 minutes.
The roads are a pleasure to drive on and fuel is half the price of that in the uk. It is possible to hire bikes and follow the coastal track around to Cottillo, it would take most of day to do the return journey. The small Island of Lobos is also worth a visit.

The BlueFlag beach is very clean. Correlejo itself is growing with plenty of building work going on but this is on the outskirts rather than in the town centre, and didn't affect our holiday. There are plenty of bars but not a lot to do if you have children. We found a bar in the Plaza where there was a pool table and stayed there for a while. There is also a mini golf place above, but I wouldn't bother with that. The resort is fine the only reason we wouldn't go back is 'been there done that'.
